In 1979, we learned from Ridley Scott’s Alien that in space – nobody can hear you scream. In 1986, we learned from James Cameron’s Aliens taught us that they mostly come out at night. Mostly. And in 2023, we learn that putting Dave and Mikey in the same room talking on the same microphone might not have been the greatest idea. Chris did his best to reel them in as they took a slightly different approach to the podcast – an idea that they are going to stick with going forward. Less clips – more quips!

What's the rumpus? We swear this episode was recorded in March and was just a few days after St. Patrick's Day! However, it took Mikey a few days longer than expected to finish up the episode of him, Dave and Chris talking the Coen Brother's 1990 "Miller's Crossing" - a movie 66% of our hosts watched for the first time for this episode!

50 years ago, Francis Ford Coppola and Mario Puzo brought us a cinematic masterpiece - one of the greatest movies of all time - The Godfather. Today, our usual gang, Chris, Mikey and Dave are joined by a new member of the FNE family, and a literal member of Chris and Dave's family, Chris' baby brother Greg. Together the four of spend a few hours going through this legendary movie, while enjoying a beverage or two. Or three.

Also, Greg is running in this year's Boston Marathon. Why would someone run so long on purpose when nobody is chasing them? Well, in Greg's own words:

"I am one of many who hope to do just that on April 18th at the 126th Boston Marathon. Not to just fulfill some crazy dream, but to do it while helping Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund fight cancer."

The Christmas Season is in full swing as Mikey, Dave and Chris discuss the 1989 John Hughes written, Chevy Chase starring "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." It's a movie that has become a beloved Christmas classic over the past 30 years. It's also a movie that two of our three hosts like. It won't take you long to figure out which one of the boys isn't a fan. It was Dave.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! David, Chris and Mikey are together on Thanksgiving Eve (rather than go out and drink with other people at bars which is apparently what younger cool people do on this night?) and we're here to talk about the 1987 John Hughes classic, "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" starring the legendary comedians Steve Martin and John Candy. To honor our nation's veterans, Mikey, Dave and Chris talked about the 1998 Steven Spielberg classic, "Saving Private Ryan" starring the great Tom Hanks. While this was recorded on Veterans Day, Mikey was not able to get it finalized and edited until tonight, and even though it's later than we had hoped - it's never too late to say thank you to our vets and our current troops.
