Andrew Lam, M.D., is the award-winning author of three books. Born in Philadelphia and raised in central Illinois, he graduated summa cum laude in history from Yale University, where he studied military history and U.S.-East Asian relations. He then attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by specialty training in ophthalmology and retina surgery at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine, a partner at New England Retina Consultants, and an attending surgeon at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Dr. Martin Hsia, PsyD. is a Psychologist and the Clinical Director at the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Center of Southern California (CBT SoCal). His specialties are helping people with OCD, Anxiety Disorders, and Insomnia. Dr. Hsia has a doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, a M.A. in Christian Leadership from Fuller Graduate School of Theology, and a B.A. in psychology and Spanish from Tufts University.


Dr. Joseph Lee, MD., is a Psychiatrist in private practice in Redondo Beach, California. He is also an educator in social and emotional learning (SEL) and provides individual and group supervision to licensed therapists looking to add mental healthiness and SEL principles to their own practices. Dr. Lee has a medical doctorate from University Of California, Los Angeles, School Of Medicine.

He is currently the CEO and co-founder of Civic Champs, a social enterprise that creates technology solutions for nonprofit organizations to automate volunteer management. The goal of the company is to make volunteering a frictionless experience for both volunteers and service organizations.


Prior to Civic Champs, Geng co-founded two companies based in Pittsburgh. The first company, RentJungle.com is an apartment search engine which was sold in 2014 to The Rainmaker Group. The second, Community Elf (rebranded as Cosmitto) is a social media management agency which was sold in 2017 to a private equity firm. In addition, Geng had the honor of spending 4 years at McKinsey & Company, as an advisor to senior executive clients at Fortune 500 companies – helping them solve their most pressing strategic and management issues. Geng holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Michigan State University.
