For the New Years', we settled in to watch something with some old friends in it and watched The Thing.

We watched The Shining. This one is about that and Stanley Kubric Stephen King and CIA experiments and there's probably some Doctor Sleep spoilers in here too. It's a grand time, had by two people.

We watched Pale Rider this week. KZA does an expose on Clint, Clint doesn't make out unscathed.

It's Akira Kurosawa time. We watched Ran; it's one of those samurai pictures.

This week it was Valley Girl's turn. Lots of people seem to like this one, we just don't know why. It's got Nic Cage before he learned to kiss; there's no way that his natural chest hair either. Kyle gives the categories random men on the street fall into and wonder if kids still listen to punk rock. Go listen to that Moon and Frank Zappa song.

We watched Night of the Comet -- it holds up. It also stars two actresses the KvLT know; we're just going to be self-referential from now on. We talk about nuance and George Lucas and formats. 

This one's about Shaolin vs Wu Tang (Or Shaolin and Wu Tang - depending) The movie that gave Rza a thousand samples. We talk other stuff too, as is our want. Come check it out, or not, whatever... subscribe or something. We don't know.

We're told this is Tom Hanks's first movie role - Made-for-TV still counts. Mazes and Monsters is a movie about a bunch of people with mental illness who sorta play Dungeons and Dragons in a cave. This movie gives you so many important laugh lessons, you heard us. There's some other stuff here too, whatever.

The Wraith is a movie starring a gangly buttface and his gang of jerk kids as they slowly get taken apart by an avenging ghost car driven by Charlie Sheen. It's great and awful. We talk about some other stuff too, like The Flash in an erotica thriller. Listen to it, it's got tiger blood or something. 

We watched House. This movie's a hard one to pin down, it might be one of the good-bad movies, or it might be boring. The creature designs are great in either case. We talk through a lot of random topics at the beginning too.

Someone was out to get some of that Goonies cash in 1987 and they made The Monster Squad. Last week, we decided to watch it. The Wolfman's got nards. Some of you are wondering why you haven't heard of it, watch it and you'll know. We talk about Stranger Things Season 3 and the history of Kevin Smith's tweets. Also, the news of the week; which is depressing.

We watched a movie from Stephen King's cocaine years; it's Maximum Overdrive time.  We'd argue it's one of those good bad movies, we certainly remember watching whenever it came on TV. We talk Stranger Things, a lot, but Kyle doesn't want to hurt his friend's feelings. 

We watched Runaway this week. It stars Tom Selleck, whose got that big mustache energy, and Gene Simmons in his titular role as a creepy robotics ghoul. We're sorry we told you guys to watch this one. We also talk about the Democratic Primary debates and incels and KISS (surprisingly).

This week it was Freddy's turn, we watched A Nightmare On Elm Street. Shawn reveals he looked at New Balance shoes. We talk about a bunch of other stuff, including some useless alt-right goober. "Endgame is a better movie than Avatar - for sure" ~ Kyle.

Go watch 1983's The Day After and then come join us in our dread. This one's a bit out of our normal wheelhouse, it's a Made-for-TV film featuring few rubber monsters and no gratuitous nudity. But don't worry, most of the female characters still aren't handled well. We talk climate change too. Also, it's Yellowstone and not Yosemite that's going to kill us all (Shawn got his national parks confused).

We watched Krush Groove, a heavily fictionalized story based on the creation of Def Jam Recordings. It's a film featuring a bevy of 80s Hip Hop performers before they were stars, one roasting a fetal pig over a bunsen burner. We also talk Wild Wild West, NCSI, and Drake.

This time we watched Chopping Mall. You can tell it's an 80s movie because of the shopping mall, which we believe no longer exist in 2019. Plus, it's got Dick Miller too. Kyle tells us about his dream of grocery shopping with Rhianna. 

We watched that crazy Jim Henson fantasy, puppet movie The Dark Crystal. Narration in movies is almost always a mistake - when will they learn. Apparently, the Netflix prequel isn't out yet, but we're worried about it regardless. Vince McMahon comes up, so does Game of Thrones (hopefully for the last time). 

We are Space Force and we're here to watch movies and fight space pirates. We watched Fist of the North Star this time. Kyle has to revise his overarching opinion of Anime. Kyle starts a conversation about corporate mass production of art. We also talk more Game of Thrones in this one (the finale aired later the same evening). We watched that Bloodsport flick. It's a good one, with some classic 80s flaws and crazy Bolo Yeung pecks. We talked a bunch of Game of Thrones again too, "That Last of the Starks", this was recorded on Sunday before "The Bells" aired.  Also, Kyle reveals that he sees Kevin Smith as an enemy. 

This week, The Great Outdoors. It's John Candy and Dan Aykroyd in this podcast's second John Hughes movie. The Great Outdoors > Weird Science. We talk a lot of Game of Thrones in this one, "The Long Night" episode. We recorded this on Sunday and were further disappointed hours later by "The Last of the Starks". Honestly, it's another one where we discuss everything else but the movie we watched.

We were supposed to watch The Punisher (1989) - and we did - but this one's really just about Avengers: Endgame. We bought into the hype, and now this podcast really is just like all the other movie podcasts. 

Early Episode! Special Punisher episode tomorrow. We watched that Killer Klowns From Outer Space movie. These Klowns got the craziest killer hi-jinx you ever did see. What's your favorite? We talk about a whole bunch of other stuff too, mostly ghosts.

It's Kurt Russell time. Is he the greatest action star of the 80s? Come watch him Escape from New York. This one's got our old friend Tom Atkins too. It's a grand time. We also talk the similarities of Rhonda Byrne and Aleister Crowley. 

We watched Airplane! but we don't talk about it as much as usual. What's to say about the funniest comedy movie of all time? Probably a lot. We loved it, watch it or watch it again you nerds. Kyle calls out David Tennant (McDonald) and we do talk about a lot of other stuff.

We've done a very bad thing to all of you, we're making you watch Police Academy. How gute is? Eh... Bobcat Goldthwait and Bill Clinton's opinion differ, Space Force's opinion falls on the Bobcat side of the spectrum. We talk Twitter and get angry about Garth Brooks.

Our second bonus episode - for the kids. It's that special time of year when I remember that wrestling's still a thing. We watched WrestleMania 3. It's got Hulk, it's got Andre, it's got Bob Uecker, it's got the Can-Am Connection. It's got everything. 

It's 80s Kung Fu classic time. Police Story. It's got all that good Jackie Chan physical comedy with as little plot as possible. We also learn Jackie Chan shouldn't be allowed to answer phones. Oh, there's talk about MCU and cinematography in this one. 

We watched The Lost Boys. A movie that stars Kiefer Sutherland, both Coreys, and Santa Cruz - we talk about it (probably too much). We also give our thoughts about the hugely important Captain Marvel controversy. 

We watched a John Waters movie. The singing one (no, not that one) Cry-Baby - the one with Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop too. We also talk about congressional hearings.

The finally of our three part Sword and Sorcery Retrospective; we saved the one with the most sexual assaults for last. We watched Deathstalker, the first movie Kyle doesn't recommend. We also talk about Ted Bundy at the start of this one.

Weird Science, the weakest of Hughes' 80s cannon. We watched it. How is it? We spend a lot of time trying to talk about almost anything else. Kyle coins the term "manly pearls."

So... we watched Lifeforce. What to say? You'd think a movie about sexy, space vampires would be fun, but the British sure found a way. We also consider the friendliness of Americans.

Our first bonus episode. Shawn liked Blade Runner 2049 so much that we decided you needed to hear all about it. Plus, we mistake the Schwarzenegger-Classic The 6th Day for Schwarzenegger-Classic Eraser.

We watched Total Recall this week. Arguably Arnold's best movie ever (I'll argue it). Kyle also reveals how he really feels about remakes and Anime.

DYAAAAAHHOW! Sleep Away Camp. Is this movie terrible? Yes. Is it a fun movie? Yes. Also, Marvel makes Kyle feel a thing.

This one's about Ghoulies. We watched it, and it does technically qualify as a movie - barely. Wow, does this guy look like Nathan Fillion. Also, a discussion on police procedural.
