Greg Westlake is one of Team Canada’s trusted veterans, and was the long-time captain of the Canadian Para ice hockey team (2010-2019). In 2018, he helped Canada to the silver medal at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games. He scored three goals and added five assists in five games as Canada lost 2-1 in overtime to the U.S. in the gold medal game.

In addition to the silver won in 2018, Westlake won gold in his Games debut in 2006, bronze in 2014 and Silver last month in Beijing. He is also a nine-time world championship team member with three world titles (2008, 2013, 2017). Canada has finished second to the U.S. at the last two worlds in 2019 and 2021.

Westlake has also worked as a broadcaster. He was a reporter for CBC at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games and the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio. He is also a host of AMI’s Level Playing Field and Beyond the Field television programs, which showcase the power of sport through stories about athletes and organizations. 

Westlake had both legs amputated below the knee at age 18 months. When he was born his feet were malformed and were never going to be fully functional. The technical term is congenital bilateral below knee amputee. He began playing Para ice hockey with the Mississauga Cruisers in 2001 and made his debut in 2003 with Team Canada at age 17.

Trevor Linden played 20 seasons in the NHL from 1988 to 2008. He played 16 of those seasons with the Vancouver Canucks earning him the nickname "Captain Canuck". Throughout his hockey career, Trevor was respected as a leader both on the ice and in the community.

On April 5, 2008 in front of a roaring crowd at GM Place, Trevor Linden stepped off the ice for the last time in his illustrious career.

On December 17, 2008 Trevor's #16 jersey was raised to the rafters as he took his place in franchise history - forever a Canuck.

Since retiring, Trevor has entered the business world (Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness; She's Fit; Orangetheory Fitness) with the same focus he took to the ice for 20 years. His dedication to the community continues to make him one of Canada's most respected athletes.

Fitness and high-performance continue to be a big part of Trevor's life. He enjoys cycling and cross country skiing and has completed several international races in both sports. You can spot him training around Vancouver, Whistler and the Okanagan year round.

Lisa joined FedEx Express as an associate marketing specialist in 1992. She quickly progressed and, in 2003, was appointed vice president of sales, marketing and corporate communications. She was appointed to her current role in October 2010. In every single year of her leadership, employees have ranked FedEx Express as one of Canada’s best places to work on the Aon Hewitt Best Employers in Canada list. Lisa’s focus on service excellence and community engagement has also given FedEx a place among the 20 most respected brands in Canada. Lisa has been named a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medalist and one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame WXN Top 100 List.

Lisa balanced a fulfilling life as a wife and mother until unexpectedly one evening, her husband Patrick was paralyzed with a life-altering heart attack. While looking after him, Lisa maintained her executive position at FedEx, continued volunteering as a director at the Business Council of Canada, as a director on the SickKids Foundation, and cared for their four children, all of which at the time were under the age of 10 at the time. Sadly, Patrick passed away two years later.

In her spare time, Lisa shares her personal story and life lessons to help inspire others, to let them know they are not alone and to find fulfillment living with gratitude and embracing family and career.

Christy Clark led Canada’s third largest province for over six years. Throughout her tenure, Clark demonstrated the strongest performance of any Canadian Premier for economic growth, fiscal management and job creation.

Christy retired from political life in 2017 as the longest serving female Premier in Canadian history and the only female Premier in Canada ever to be re-elected. She was also the first Cabinet Minister in BC to give birth while holding office.
