But for <strong>entrepreneurs</strong>, this story offers a powerful business lesson: the absolute necessity of <strong>staying connected to your source.</strong></p><p>In this reflection on <strong>Luke 15:11-32</strong>, we explore the cases of both sons, the <strong>&#34;Prodigal Entrepreneur&#34;, </strong>and what their choices reveal about our own relationship with the source of our talents, ideas, and resources (God).</p><h3>Key Lessons for the Entrepreneur:</h3><p><br></p><p><strong>The Younger Son (Disconnection):</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Resources Run Out:</strong> Disconnecting from the ultimate <strong>source of supply</strong> (God) creates a limit. Relying solely on our own energy and plans means we risk running dry when circumstances change.</li><li><strong>Circumstances Change:</strong> When a &#34;famine&#34; arises a shift in the economy, business environment, or competition, only connection to the source provides the ability to <strong>reinvent and re-energize</strong>.</li><li><strong>The World is a Taker:</strong> The world operates on exchange, profit, and self-interest. The Father is the <strong>only one</strong> willing to freely give the resources we need.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The Older Son (Misguided Connection):</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Acting Like a Servant, Not a Son:</strong> The older son stayed with his father, but failed to recognize the <strong>fullness of his inheritance</strong>. He was prodigal in his mindset, believing resources were a <strong>wage</strong> for his work, not a benefit of his <strong>relationship</strong> as a son.</li><li><strong>A Portion vs. The Full Bouquet:</strong> The younger son took only a <em>portion</em> of the resources when he left. The Father reminds the older son, &#34;<strong>All that I have is yours</strong>.&#34; Remaining connected grants you access to the <em>full array</em> of God&#39;s limitless support and supply.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Don&#39;t be a son or daughter acting like a servant.
