Michelle and Seth then launch into a discussion on eating disorders and their relationship to body dysmorphia. Using the DSM V, they discuss the different types of eating disorders including what’s involved as well as signs and symptoms. The following DSM diagnoses are explored: Pica, Rumination Disorder, Food-Restricting Type, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge-Eating Disorder. Michelle and Seth discuss each diagnosable disorder and then look at what is driving the eating disorder behaviors.
