"Approaching Shadows" is the second feature film from TAPE Community Music and Film. During their golden wedding weekend away Edward and Violet Knights are brutally separated, triggering a wife’s desperate pursuit of her husband through an increasingly frightening world. 

The film has been made through an inclusive production model which has supported over 250 people across the project, through workshops, events and bespoke support.

Project Call Out from Brychan Tudor:

Are you a creative with lived experience of long-term or chronic pain?

Would you be interested in sharing some of your experiences?

Do you have access to a smart phone or tablet?

Shatter-Resistant

Shatter-Resistant is an ongoing research project, proposing to create a short-film showcasing the stories of a number of creatives who have lived experience of long-term or chronic pain. This short film will represent the latest instalment of a long-term creative journey researching this topic and talking to artists who suffer with long-term pain conditions (Shatter-Resistant was shortlisted for a 2019 Unlimited major R&D award). 

The overall aim of this film is to highlight the stories of some incredible people, widening awareness of the effects of long-term pain, its influence on creative processes and on our relationships with the world around us.

Ask us Anything is an open and honest podcast about youth homelessness, recorded and produced by young people that have experienced hostel living and living on the streets.  In the podcast we’re going to share some real life stories from how we became homeless to how we shave (do we really use a chainsaw??).

We want to change people’s opinions, to tell people what it’s really like and show that we really are good people.
