Today we hear from Lindsey. She lives on Mount Hood in Oregon. She is a crunchy mother of 3, a powerhouse of a woman who has been through a lot...a shit ton to be honest. She spent 7 years of her childhood, from 7-14 suffering immensely from a chronic and debilitating illness called dermatomyositis which she believes was a result of the emotional distress caused in large part by addiction in her childhood home. She met her ex husband when she was 19 years old and they had three incredible children together. She is recovering from alcoholism. Lindsey spent several years traveling the US in and RV with her family while she homeschooled her children, cooking three nutritious meals per day from scratch while he husband built a successful marketing firm. Lindsey's story is one of resilience, transformation and finding the strength to embrace what is good enough when life doesn't go as planned.
