For Spear Talk 37, we had the pleasure of sitting down with the amazing, Robert Clotworthy. Most people will recognize Robert's voice from the hit shows on History Channel which he narrates, The Curse Of Oak Island, Beyond Oak Island, and Ancient Aliens, as well as the voice of the iconic "Jim Raynor" from the Starcraft video game series!

In our discussion, we covered it all, from Robert's upbringing, the importance of narration, how he maintains his voice, the recording process for The Curse Of Oak Island and Ancient Aliens, the pivotal scene he filmed with Bradley Copper in American Sniper, as well as his backstory and training history in the martial art Kung Fu San Soo! This was a ton of fun!

For Spear Talk 36, we had the distinct honor of sitting down with the legendary martial artist Bob Wall! You will recognize Mr. Wall as the main henchmen “O’Hara” in the iconic Bruce Lee film, Enter The Dragon! Mr. Wall has numerous black belts, to include Tang So Do (9th degree) and Kyokushin Budokai (8th degree).

Mr. Wall carries with him a big personality, which resonates in his stories of training with Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Gene LeBell, as well as in his pride of defending the martial arts industry as a whole!

In our discussion we talked about the training and casting process for Enter The Dragon, the importance of training multiple disciplines, dealing with pandemic, and his infamous spat with Steven Seagal!

In this inspirational discussion, we covered it all: his being shot in the line of duty with less than a week on the job, his undercover life in the Hell's Angels, how hard it is to maintain a family while undercover, the famed Operation Black Biscuit (Angels v Mongols), becoming a football coach in retirement, and his work in Hollywood, specifically the movie Den Of Thieves.

I highly suggest that you read his two books: Catching Hell and No Angel.

This organization is unique in the fact that it deploys former and retired veterans to Africa, to help in the protection of wildlife, most of which is targeted by poachers and the illegal animal trade markets.

Ryan shared his reasoning for joining the U.S. Marines and how that led to creating VETPAW, what an average day is like while on duty in Africa, how the global pandemic has affected their operations, how working with animals in turn helps the veterans with PTSD, and how he deals with negative on social media!

For Spear Talk #31, we had to honor to talk with James C. Burns, who voiced and portrayed the iconic "Frank Woods" from the acclaimed Black Ops I, Black Ops II, and Black Ops IV games in the Call of Duty series! James is one of a kind individual who shared some amazing stories!

We touched on what his feelings were, why he wasn't asked to be back in the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War playing his iconic character. It was great to hear it from James, as the fans of the series have been rallying around his lack of involvement! James is a total class act dealing with this!

We also covered what the filming of a video game consists of on his end, his creative process in building the story of "Frank Woods", as well as some awesome stories on his time as a Belgium National hockey champion, and his time in the NYC band, Runner!

For Spear Talk #30, we finally got to speak with our friend, actor, motivator, and martial artist, Chris Casamassa! You will know Chris from his role as one of the most iconic video game characters, "Scorpion", from the Mortal Kombat series, in the movie and television show!

Chris is also a 9th degree black belt in Red Dragon Karate, a martial art system his dad created, a motivational speaker, and author of "Bully Proof Fitness", which is an essential read for all children and adults!

One of the coolest things we also discovered was that Chris was George Clooney's Batman stunt-double in the Batman & Robin movie! I wonder if he kept the cowl...

We are fortunate to kick off 2021 with Erik Stolhanske for Spear Talk #29! Erik is a great friend, so it was great to finally have him sit down with us! We all know and love Erik through some of his hilarious characters in Beer Fest, Club Dread, and his role as 'Rabbit" from Super Troopers 1 and 2! Erik is one of the members of the famed Broken Lizard troop!

While he shares some funny stories from his movie roles, and time with the rest of the Broken Lizard clan, it was his motivational breakdown of his upbringing being born without a fibula in one of his legs! His story of triumph is incredible! Erik also works with various military groups and travels the world hanging with veterans and providing them hope!

Last Summer, Dr. Greer came out to a Shinedown show to meet the band, and talk about his work, as both Eric and Barry (Kerch) were familiar with his various books and projects! Do yourself a favor and check out both documentaries, both streaming on Amazon Prime, Unacknowledged and Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind!

This talk dug even deeper into topics we had originally touched upon, to include the recent declassification of UFO sightings, the stigma of asking questions and talking about this subject matter, understanding what the goals of the Space Force will be, and everything in between!

This was recorded before Dr. Greer's recent event and premier of CE5 (Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind) in Arizona on 11.20.2020!

This was a fascinating deep dive!

You would be familiar with Keith's role as "Reptile" in the Mortal Kombat movie and as the main henchmen in Beverly Hills Ninja!

We all had a blast during this sit down, which included topics such as fitness, comparing boxing to drumming, Wushu, Wing Chun, and the mental & physical endurance it takes to become number one and to maintain that drive! Some great stories were shared as well!
