                <description><![CDATA[<p><span>“That day I wore my favourite Kalamkari dress to my office. I was working as a software engineer along with my cousin. It was a usual day until a few of our colleagues stopped by at our office desk. Surprisingly, it was our dress that caught their attention.</span></p><p><span>Usually we wear either Kalamkari, Mangalgiri or Ikkat - traditional yet fashionable &amp; famous yet unknown by many people. People seemed quite interested to know more about our dresses &amp; we were quite happy to answer. Soon, more &amp; more people started asking such questions.</span></p><p><span>Now, we were about to complete two years in our jobs &amp; even though this artform was so amazing &amp; people were so interested, it never got the recognition it deserved. Artists are inadequately paid for the back bending hard work &amp; incredible talent to put behind every piece of work. The saddest part is that most people from our current generation haven’t even experienced authentic traditional clothing. Majority thinks handlooms are normal, classic &amp; plain.</span></p><p><span>My cousin &amp; I decided to change this. We shook hands &amp; took the big step of leaving our IT jobs. Our aim was to create a traditional clothing brand which was also trendy &amp; fashionable. A look with an elegant &amp; stylish appearance.</span></p><p><span>We were kids when we first witnessed the process of thread transforming into beautiful fabrics, sarees &amp; dresses. Since childhood, I’ve been quite interested in our clothing traditions while my cousin was more inclined towards fashion.
