Patron Minisode Teaser

Thu, 01 Aug 2019 23:39:50 +0000

Alright everybody. Last week we released a sample of a full episode that is given monthly to Patrons only, and today we are releasing to everyone a sample minisode that is released every other week to Patrons only. On these minisodes, we are a lot more relaxed and generally just have a really good time recording. So, enjoy this bonus sample of what becoming a Patron gives you. And, then if you can, please go over to https://www.patreon.com/badintheboondocks and take a look at the different tiers we have to offer as well as the different benefits you receive with each tier. If you will, consider becoming one of our Patrons, and help us to improve and continue the show. As said before, we give you completely ad-free episodes, and as such all expenses that are involved in creating and releasing, as well as improving (we just purchased $150.00 worth of sound isolating mats...hope you can tell an improvement in the audio quality!) our podcast comes directly out of our pockets. And it really does get and is expensive, and we are not wealthy by any means. So, if you can, please consider supporting this labor of love.

Sunny California

Thu, 30 May 2019 22:12:00 +0000

Today, we go to the state of California and talk about Lawrence Bittaker and his despicable "Murder Mack". Also, I decided to try and find a loser of a killer that shared my name, and boy did I find one....Stanley Baker. Not only did dear ole' Stanley like to kill, but he enjoyed indulging in his victim's bits and pieces, including taking fingers with him for a little something to just "snack" on during his travels...(finger food, anybody?). I hope you all enjoy this episode, and I am VERY sorry it is so late, but work has been very demanding. All that I do ask is will you PLEASE leave a review and rate our podcast. We ae really wondering if there is anyone out there (besides the three) that even kinda likes our podcast. We get NO feedback or interactions with any listeners and I am just wondering what are we doing so wrong?!. Also, please tell a friend, or please share us on your social networks, so that we can grow. We really love making this podcast, but from our meager listener numbers, it seems that maybe we should just quit and no one would miss it. And, if you have ANY feedback, comments, suggestions, or just want to say hey, please do so. You can email me (Stan) at stan@badintheboondocks.com or Jeru at jeru@badintheboondocks.com. Until next time, be good!

Twisted Romance & Bad, Bad Carl Brown

Mon, 29 Apr 2019 12:23:00 +0000

Two things about this episode. First, we are so sorry for getting this episode out to you guys late. I have been working in Florida, and we live in South Carolina. I did not get back to South Carolina until late this weekend so that is why it is not on time. Secondly, thank you so much for any of you that have rated and/or reviewed us. We have found out the past week that on Castbox, it has not been showing ratings and reviews, and on iTunes, they are slowly trickling in late. So, if we have not given you a shout out on an episode, it is because your comment/review is not showing up. If that is the case for you, please take a minute and review us again on the platform you use, and go to our website https://badintheboondocks.com and shoot us a comment there also. Thank you guys and gals so much for sticking with us. We really care about what y'all think and we want to know anything we can do to make you want to listen to us even more. Also, if you will, please go to our Patreon page and consider joining one of our three tiers, each of which has unique perks. This will really help us continue and improve our podcast. We do not receive any monetary compensation for the podcast because we are completely independent and completely free of annoying ads. But, it does cost us money to put out this podcast and becoming a patron will help us become better sounding, and stay ad free. Plus, becoming a patron gives you a lot of neat perks as well as bonus content (and who can say no to more of us right!?). Having said that, this week, we talk about a loser of a guy named Carl Brown, and yet another loser named Charlie Starkweather. Again, sorry for the lateness of the episode and thank you so much for listening. And hey, spread the word, and tell a friend!

Thanks to everyone that listens. We love and appreciate each and every one of you. Also, PLEASE rate and/or REVIEW us....that is the only way for our show to get shown to others so they can also listen.

Moms Can Be Bad Too

Sun, 24 Feb 2019 15:13:18 +0000

Today we talk about two women that prove not every mother is deserving of mom of the year. Our first killer mom wants to have another child and takes matters into her own hands and directly out of another's womb. Our second mom decides she isn't cut out for kids and also takes matters into her own hands. Both of these cases are extremely sick and really causes one to just wonder what people are capable of. Remember, we will be at the True Crime Podcast Festival in Chicago on July 13....get your tickets and drop on by and meet us. Also, PLEASE subscribe and/or follow on whatever platform you listen to podcasts on.
