The Last of Us 207 "Convergence" Synopsis

As storm clouds converge in Seattle, Ellie regroups with Dina and Jesse, shaken by her own brutality against Nora. She reveals to Dina what Joel did at the hospital, prompting Dina to suggest they return home. 

Meanwhile Isaac and Sargent Park discuss the impact of the coming storm, their coming attack on the Seraphytes and Abby, who is supposed to take over as leader of the Wolves but has recently gone missing.

Elsewhere, while waiting for Tommy to turn up at the rendezvous point, Ellie and Jesse intercept a WLF radio call about a sniper, who has some WLF members trapped. Jesse believes it’s Tommy so they pursue the source of the gunshots. 

But while searching for Tommy, Ellie sees the city aquarium and ferris wheel and splits from Jesse to commandeer a motorboat to travel there, where she believes Abby is located based on information from Nora. But Ellie is thrown from the boat as the storm waves hit the boat. She manages to swim to a nearby Island that is the focus of the WLF’s operations and home to the Seraphytes.

After barely surviving an encounter with a group of Seraphites, Ellie enters the aquarium and finds Owen and a pregnant Mel. She holds them at gunpoint and demands further information on Abby's whereabouts. 

When Owen grabs a gun, Ellie fatally shoots him. But the bullet also strikes Mel, who begs Ellie to deliver her baby as she dies. But Ellie is unable to save Mel’s baby and she is rescued from the aquarium by Jesse and Tommy and they return to the theatre. 

Abby ambushes them at the theatre, killing Jesse, and holding Ellie and Tommy at gunpoint. As Ellie desperately pleads with Abby to release Tommy and take her, she reveals that she was the immune girl that Joel had killed for, as Abby processes this information she turns the gun on Ellie and a gunshot rings out across the theatre. 

Three days earlier, Manny wakes up Abby, informing her that Isaac has summoned them.

The Last of Us 206 "The Price" Synopsis

Soon after moving in to Jackson, Joel tries to make Ellie’s 15th birthday special as he gives her a hand restored guitar and a vanilla birthday cake for “Eli”. Recovering from attempting to burn the bite mark from her arm Ellie asks Joel to sing to her agreeing that he doesn’t suck.

A year later, while Ellie’s mind is firmly on getting out to patrol around Jackson, Joel insists that she take it slowly, trains with Jesse and learn the ropes as he surprises her with a visit to a museum to fulfil her dream of going to space. But after her amazing birthday Ellie still has something on her mind.

Another year on and Ellie is growing up faster than Joel would like. She’s smoking weed, kissing girls and getting a tattoo to cover her burned arm. But Joel just wanted her to stay the same. He eventually concedes that Ellie needs her own space and arranges for her to move out to the garage.

By the time of her 19th birthday Ellie wants to confront Joel about what really happened at Salt Lake City all those years ago. But when Joel takes her on her first patrol she forgets all about it as her reconnaissance of the woodland finds only a pair of amorous squirrels.

After the uneventful start to the patrol, Joel is sent as emergency backup for Adam and Eugene who have gotten into trouble with some infected. Ellie insists on going with Joel but when they arrive Adam is already dead and Eugene has been bitten. 

Eugene just wants to see his wife Gail one last time before he dies. Ellie has Joel promise he’ll keep Eugene alive while she goes to retrieve their horses but despite this, Joel executes the infected man. An upset and betrayed Ellie realises this isn’t the first time Joel has lied to her and tells Gail what Joel really did to her husband before separating herself from him.

Nine months later after Joel tries to defend her at the New Years Eve Dance, Ellie finally confronts Joel and learns all about Salt Lake City and that he did what he did because he loves her. She doesn’t know if she can forgive him but now that she knows the truth she’d like to try. But this is the last conversation the two will have as within twenty-four hours Joel will be dead, murdered at the hands of Abby.

Back in present day Seattle, following her brutal torture of Nora, Ellie returns to the Theatre where Jessie and Dina are waiting for her.

The Last of Us 205 "Feel Her Love" Synopsis

Dina makes a plan to safely get to the Lakehill Hospital to find Abby’s ally Nora. The route is more dangerous than they expected as they are surrounded by multiple intelligent infected stalkers. 

Luckily Jesse found their plans at the theatre and he gets there in time to save them. But as they leave they are chased down by W.L.F. members and hide out in a local park. Unfortunately the park is overrun by Seraphites who capture and ritually kill another member of the W.L.F.

The Seraphites injure Dina with an arrow to the leg, so Ellie finds a way to distract them while Jesse gets her to safety.

After escaping the Seraphites Ellie makes her own way into the Lakehill hospital, without support and locates Nora. But she makes a run for it to escape Ellie, but ends up down a dead end. Nora must lead her to basement level 2, an area of the hospital closed off after cordyceps became airborne. Ellie catches up and corners Nora, she refuses to give up any information on Abby’s location and learns that not only is Ellie immune, she knows exactly what Joel did. 

But Ellie isn’t willing to give up and brutally uses a metal bar on Nora’s legs hoping to find a clue to Abby’s location before the cordyceps infection takes over Nora’s body.

The Last of Us 204 "Day One" Synopsis

In 2018 Seattle group leader Isaac Dixon killed his Federal Disaster Response Agency (F.E.D.R.A.) squad and switches allegiances to the W.L.F. Eleven years later, Isaac, now the W.L.F's leader, interrogates and later kills a Seraphite who refuses to share the location of his group's next attack.

Meanwhile, Ellie and Dina's first day in Seattle sees them stumble upon the remains of the conflicts between F.E.D.R.A. agents. They also learn that the W.L.F are hiding out in the Seattle broadcast tower. But Dina cautions that it could be a trap so they hide out in a music store. While there Ellie finds a guitar and serenades Dina with a song she learned from Joel.

That night, when they enter the broadcast tower they stumble upon several W.L.F soldiers that have been brutally murdered by the Seraphites and their bodies displayed suspended from the ceiling with their entrails hanging out. 

Whilst looking on at the grisly sight, the two escape the arrival of the Wolves and the infected in the subway under Seattle, but Ellie is bitten while saving Dina. As they hide in an abandoned theater, a heartbroken Dina prepares to shoot Ellie, who explains that she is immune. Dina confesses to Ellie that she is pregnant, and at that moment their feelings for one another get real as they have sex. 

The next morning, they make their way to the roof of the theatre after hearing explosions and they overhear the W.L.F comms chatter on a walkie talkie that the injured from the explosions are making their way to Lakehill hospital for treatment from Abby's friend Nora.  

Despite the danger Dina tells Ellie that she still wants to go with her.

The Last of Us 203 "The Path" Synopsis

While Tommy says goodbye to Joel in the morgue, Ellie has to recover from the injuries Manny inflicted on her.

Three months later, Ellie is finally released from hospital and Dina tells her that the group who killed Joel are members of The Washington Liberation Front (Wolves) from Seattle. 

Before setting out for vengeance, Tommy convinces Ellie to bring the case to the townspeople of Jackson. But despite her best efforts the council deny their support.

Later that night Dina teams up with Ellie to pursue Joel's killers on their own. 

When they arrive in Seattle it looks deserted, but in another area of the city a convoy of dozens of soldiers march through the streets of Seattle with several armored vehicles emblazoned with the W.L.F. symbol.

The Last of Us 202 "Through The Valley" Synopsis

After taking shelter in a mansion near Jackson, Abby remains steadfast in her mission to kill Joel. But her friends are more concerned about the town's size during daytime and the security contained within its walls. While Abby goes outside to keep watch, Owen informs the others that his plan is to convince Abby to leave and return to Seattle.

In Jackson, the town Council has put the town on alert after a patrol reports of the infected using other infected as insulation under the snowpack and being able to attack in the cold. With the events of New Years Eve behind everyone, Jesse wakes up a sleepy Ellie to go head out on patrol, who wants to go out with Joel, but Jesse informs her that he has already left with Dina.

While scoping out Jackson, Abby sees two horse riders and as she tries to get closer she accidentally awakens a large horde of infected hiding under the snow. She escapes into a nearby compound but is attacked again by the horde only to be saved from one of the infected by Joel. Knowing who she has been saved by, she immediately suggests they escape to the nearby lodge where her friends are taking shelter from the cold. As they flee the compound on horseback, the chasing horde suddenly stops pursuing them.

Meanwhile, Ellie and Jesse are holed up in a Seven Eleven that was previously used by Eugene as a farm to grow weed for sale back in Jackson. As the storm gets worse outside they receive broken and intermittent radio messages from Jackson informing them that Dina and Joel have not returned. Ellie and Jesse head out to scout the mountainside in separate direction to try and find them before they are taken by the cold, the infected or worse! 

In Jackson, the infected tendrils are discovered, as the tendrils assess their new surroundings the horde are redirected to Jackson. A large battle ensues at the walls of Jackson and the inhabitants appear to have the upper hand until a Bloater breaches the wall which leads to a battle inside Jackson. Heavy damage and casualties are suffered and as the Bloater looks to go after Maria, Tommy saves his wife from the bloater by drawing it away and killing it with a flamethrower.

Abby brings Joel and Dina to the mansion, where Dina is sedated and Abby reveals herself to be the daughter of the Firefly doctor who Joel killed at the hospital in Salt Lake City. She shoots Joel in the leg and brutally beats him with a golf club,. As she continues to use Joel as a punch bag, Ellie arrives at the lodge and enters the mansion. As she enters the main lodge hall to see Joel bloody and being beaten viciously by Abby, she is restrained by Abby's party and forced to watch helplessly. Owen orders Abby to finish it and Ellie watches as Abby fatally stabs Joel in the neck with the broken golf club's handle. Ellie promises to kill Abby, and Abby's group leaves the lodge heading back to Seattle as Jesse is seen approaching the lodge from the other direction. 

As Jackson begins to recover from the battle, Ellie, Dina, and Jesse return home with Joel's body

The Last of Us 201 "Future Days" Synopsis

As they hike the final leg of their return journey to Jackson, Ellie insists Joel swear his story about the Fireflies is true. He swears and Ellie seemingly accepts his word.

In Utah Abby and the last survivors of the attack on the hospital vow to kill Joel slowly for his part in the death of the Fireflies.

Five years later, Joel is no longer The Contractor but he is the foreman for the expansion of Jackson Wyoming. He and Ellie have grown apart and Joel is seeking therapy for the breakdown of their relationship.

Meanwhile Ellie goes on patrol with Dina and they find a new variant of the Infected, a stalker, who bites Ellie but she's still able to hide her immunity from everyone.

After they've reported the anomalous Infected to the town council Ellie and Dina join the rest of the Jackson residents at the New Year's Eve party. Dina kisses Ellie but one of the townspeople, Seth, abuses them before he is knocked over by Joel. Angered by his overbearing, overprotection Ellie tells Joel she doesn't need his help in front of the whole town and storms out.

Later that night, as the drunken party goers return home, infected tendrils of cordyceps have found their way inside the town and Abby and her own party observe Jackson, Wyoming from the mountainside above.
