This week I speak with Neil Erickson and we talk about dead rail being the next big thing? Dead Rail, up until this interview I knew nothing about this concept. Dead Rail has many benefits including limited to no rail cleaning. So what is Dead Rail?: in short the locomotive is battery powered and radio/wifi controlled using some other electrical components and utilizing your current DCC command stations and DCC decoders. Fasinating. . Neil also talks about his Oahu Railway Wahiawa Branch in On30 a great building coming along there.
