When that dream didn’t come true, she faced disappointment early in life. Yet instead of giving up, she made a bold decision: she would still become a “doctor,” no matter the path.


Although her parents had hoped she would not follow in her father’s footsteps, life led her into the teaching profession. But Dr. Mercy refused to settle. Faced with numerous challenges, she chose growth. She pushed herself, pursued further studies, acquired new skills, and continuously challenged the status quo.


Today, she holds a PhD, and her story is a powerful reminder that growth is possible for every teacher.
