As an actor, Adria has appeared on numerous television shows for FOX, CBS, NBC, Nickelodeon, the WB, etc. as well as appeared in many films. You may have seen her on Chicago Med, Nip/Tuck, My Name is Earl, Felicity, NCIS or Popular (as April Tuna) to name a few. Adria's decades long career includes a roster of acting credits that steadily expands, always adding memorable roles to her resume.


As an educator, Adria private coaches actors, and taught at and toured colleges teaching on-camera acting and auditioning, and self management. Bryan hosts actress, master acting coach, author and former casting director Jane Drake Brody (HBO’s Somebody Somewhere) to discuss the historic roots of storytelling, the archetypes we all continue to embody, and how all of this knowledge relates in a modern context.

Jane Drake Brody is currently a regular on the HBO Series, “Somebody Somewhere” starring Bridgett Everett.


Additional Biography:

Jane’s decade spanding career as a citizen of the theater has included, her founding her own acting school, The Audition Center in Chicago, IL now known as Acting Studio Chicago, founding her own casting house, Jane Brody Casting, and teaching scores of students the craft of acting as a master acting coach at numerous universities and conservatories, notably as an Associate Professor of Theatre at the Theatre School, Depaul University, Chicago, IL and the Head of Undergraduate Acting at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She is the author of two books: "Acting, Archetype, and Neuroscience" (Routledge) which examines the use of neuroscience for directors and performers in all mediums, and "The Actor's Business Plan" (Bloomsbury) which focuses on creating a satisfying career and happy life for actors.

Jane has won multiple awards, most notably a CSA Artios award for her work on the Coen Bros film, "Fargo". She also received the Los Angeles Weekly's Best Actress Award for the lead role in "Absent Friends" produced by Jean Stapleton.
