<itunes:summary>Let’s talk about breasts, BABY! 🎀

👋 I’m Dr. Robyn Roth, but my friends call me @theboobiedocs ( http://theboobiedocs.com ) , my popular social media platform where I discuss breast cancer and breast health in an educational and fun way. 👩🏻‍⚕️

I’m a board-certified Radiologist who specializes in breast imaging and image guided procedures.🩻 I also happen to be a 40-something woman with a strong family history of breast cancer and BRCA, so I know a thing or two about breast cancer. 💝

And this is my podcast, The Girlfriend’s Guide to Breast Cancer, Breast Health, & Beyond.

If you or someone you love has been affected by breast cancer than this podcast is for you. Each episode, I talk to top breast cancer experts, thrivers, previvors, and those who love them, to bring you THE BREAST INFORMATION. 💕

🆕 episodes will be released every few weeks- subscribe so you don’t miss an episode. 🎧

So get ready to learn, laugh, and let’s be breasties! 👯‍♀️

IT’S OUR 2️⃣ YEAR PODCAST ANNIVERSARY!!🥳 & we’re celebrating by having our first repeat guest, Dr. Elyce Cardonick from @cancerandpregnancy. But this time, she’s sharing about her own diagnosis of rectal cancer & what it’s been like to go from doctor to patient.

We talk about the rise in cancer in young people, the unforeseen side effects of chemotherapy, scanxiety, & she offers her best advice for those going through chemotherapy or supporting someone who is. And, of course, we dedicate the last part of the episode to her area of expertise, cancer during pregnancy.

Dr. Cardonick offers so much wisdom & insight, & we are so grateful to have her share her story with us.

I hope you love this podcast episode as much as I do!
