It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of John Scott from these hallowed imaginary talk show walls. John was the best of us in every sense of humanity. He never let us down and he always had Scott's Plan ready to go in the chamber. We will miss him dearly. Scott will absolutely have a standing order on this show along with our other former show pal, Matt. The good news though is Luke's baby is out in the world now, so we can lock in on doing this show consistently. Even though we could have done this show consistently before the baby arrived. All past is prologue. Now is the time for us to focus in on 2023 to be there for you as this world continues to depreciate one day at a time with another shooting or train derailment right around the corner. We have SO MUCH to talk about that we didn't even get to all of it in this episode. Please keep your emails coming to let us know if you are down with Govier & Luke as a twosome. Scotty boy is on the road in the desert. That means we called in Steve Guile once more for quality show reinforcement. Steve is going to try to equal his effort last time out where he impressed someone with his depth of understanding about the space time continuum. Drinking takes place on this show, but it's nothing to fear. Luke likes to take the edge off to reduce the anxiety. Jeff Beck died, but Luke mixed him up with Jeff Buckley who died swimming in the Mississippi. That reminds Mike of the guy who recently survived 15-20 hours wading in the Gulf of Mexico after he got hammered and fell off a cruise ship. Luke says there is no way that someone can fall off a cruise ship because they have 10 foot walls. Steve says Christ never found his way inside of him despite a heavy dose of him in his childhood. Steve also grew up in Hawaii where they played on volcanic dirt. If you've never run the bases at your local professional baseball park, Steve says those infield dirts are slippery as hell. Have you seen the new film The Menu? Steve knows a bit about the restaurant it's set in. High pressure restaurants are hell. Mike recalls his days working at the Stillwater Grill in 2001 with his pal Morgan. Great memories! Also, Foghorn Leghorn is not Yosemite Sam. The Humpty Dance will always put a pep in your step. Steve and Mike are big fans and they say farewell to Humpty from the Humpty Dance, better known as Shock G, who died last year. It brings up Mike's memory of not getting busy in a Burger King bathroom even though he worked at a couple of them. We hit up your emails of course! Luke and Mike are worried about friend of the show Yancy in south Florida and they hope Hurricane Ian doesn't ruin his life. This spurs a rant about how philanthropy has gone off the rails. Charitable causes are noble, but too much money never seems to find its way to the people who need it. Luke thinks that Mike talked too much about Roy Halladay today.
