On this episode of the podcast I a movie that's apart of franchise I grew up with, the 2021 action film "No Time To Die." I'm actually pretty surprised that a 007 movie made it to this podcast. I grew up loving these movies always watching them with my father during the holidays. It's no secret that the 007 movies have been very forgettable in the past decade. I honestly don't understand why Daniel Craig even did a 5th movie since that's kinda against the 007 rules. But, personally I think I fell out of love with these movies cause they're not only all the same but throughout the years the franchise never made an effort to adapt to its growing audience.

Never in my entire life was I ever interested to watch Jurassic Park. The reason why I never cared to see it is out of respect believe it or not. Growing up all I did was watch movies and oddly enough Jurassic Park never existed in my household, nor in my community in a sense. Sure, I heaed about it but from what people have told me over the years it didn't really seem that I would get much from. I'm ready today to try and understand why people love this movie and consider it a timeless classic.

I owned it on VHS and like many movies I owned, I watched it repeatedly. I believe "She's All That" isn't really a good movie nor a classic. I think people label these movies as classic just cause of the era it was created in. Fast forward over 20 years now this film has a Netflix remake that I'm sure no one asked for. Therefore, I'm not really interested to watch this film but, I am looking forward to discovering why people have an appreciation for both movies.

I do however like that there is a female director directing this movie. I've always said that we need more female directors especially for films that are made for women. Hopefully Bridget Jones's Diary can be a movie I like and can find an appreciation for.

This movie was my choice for today's episode because although, I do love superheroes and comic books, I am offically burned out on these superhero movies. Plus, DC hasmt made a good superhero film since the Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise. Wonder Woman was slightly above average and Shazam had a good energy to it but, DC films in my opinion can't seem to get it right. Also, I felt the first Suicide Squad movie was awful. Im going into this movie with -100% expectations.

I remember years ago that the promotion for this movie was everywhere, nobody could escape from it. Again, I loved Anna Kendrick in Scott Pilgrim but these Pitch Perfect movies seem to be a compete opposite. I know for a fact this movie has a bigger budget than the first movie and also a new director. Hopefully this movie will have a bit more substance than the first one.
