Maximising Your Youth

Join us as our Man of God delves into the topic of ‘Maximising Your Youth’, exploring how God is passionate about young people. He discussed the meaning of living life to the fullest as a young person, the kind of life young people are supposed to be living, and how God is interested in our lives.

He also talked about the life of Solomon and how he lived his youth, emphasising the importance of living life to the end so that we don’t conclude that life is vanity’s. He highlighted how our life is like a vapour, thinking that we have enough time as young people, and how we should not let time pass us by.

The Bible describes our lives as a vapour, and the limited time we have as young people is a reminder of how precious it is. He encouraged us to walk as wise people not fools and to apply our hearts to wisdom to make our days meaningful.

He also emphasised that being young is not a limitation, and he shared reasons why God is interested in young people. He mentioned how some people in the Bible, like David and Joseph, lived successful lives because they gave their youth to God for training.

- As we read the Bible we should take the Word we see for it

- The believer studies to know the Lord, respond to His Lord, and not to be found wanting

- The purpose of devotional Bible study is to bring you to the place of application; that is you study to apply what it is that you studied

- The Christian who’s results are clearly seen is the Christian who is a doer; you are a doer of the Word

- The believer is able to come to the place of being able to do all that is written in the Word through devotional Bible study

- In devotional Bible study the Word finds its place in your heart

- More often than not, a believer who does not see the results of speaking in tongues is because they are bankrupt of the deposit of the Word in their heart and can not withdrawal from the account of the Word

- Speaking in tongues is like putting a bullet in a gun and when you release the Word you fire the gun; many believers know how to load the gun but don’t know how to shoot the gun

- Devotional Bible studies is so that we may be complete in the knowledge of God; thoroughly equipped for every good work

- There are steps that the believer should do to know know how to personal Bible study such as finding a quiet place, and writing what they see

- In devotional Bible Study what you are trying to get from what you are reading, is exactly what you are reading not outside what your reading

- There are 7 steps when it comes to mediations to know how to personal Bible study, such as picturing exactly what you are reading from the Word

- The end of every Bible study is to bring you to the place where you look like Christ, to apply the Word, have a deep relationship with God, and to live a transformed life, a transformed mind, and a transformed speech, and insight into Scripture

On The Matters Of Speaking In Tongues Part 1

Join us in this new series as our Man of God teaches On The Matters Of Speaking In Tongues and equips the believer to grasp the theory and understanding of speaking in tongues.

We learnt that:

- The establishment and strength of your faith is based on understanding

- Tongue speaking is a coded language given by God to His people to communicate, allows the son of God to communicate effectively with his God, and also allows God to communicate codidly with His sons ~ PLA 2025

- The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to the church, Jesus is God’s gift to the World

- In the believers life there are two marks that initiate everyone as a Christian:

1. When you believe the Lord Jesus & make the confession that He is the Lord of your life

2. The baptism of the Holy Spirit which is a seal of our salvation

- To speak in tongues is an initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost

- Speaking in tongues is the evidence that one has been baptised with the Holy Spirit / being filled with the Holy Spirit

- On the day of Pentecost those who were celebrating Pentecost did not speak in tongues but rather those who were not celebrating.

- The first time the disciples spoke in tongues in the Upper Room {Acts 2} was for the fulfilment of prophecy {Joel 2:28}

- The first fold of the fulfilment of prophecy is that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the beginning of the Last Days of Earth.

- The second fold of the fulfilment of prophecy was that God was calling the Jews back to their country

- Speaking in tongues was prophesied more than thousands of years before Christ Jesus was born

- Speaking in tongues was promised to every nation under Heaven.

Kinds Of Prayer Part 6(Prayer Of Supplication Pt 2)

Join us as our Man of God continues teaching on the Prayer of Supplication and deals with how to know you’ve received an answer from the place of prayer whilst also teaching on victory notes.

We learnt that:

- Before having an on-site meeting we must pray in the place of supplication ahead of time

- The mercy of God can meet the prayer of supplication in times of need

- Our Lord Jesus Christ made prayers of supplication before bringing forth miracles, such as Walking On Water {Matthew 14:22-22}

- You are never wasting time praying, and no prayer offered is a waste of time

- The answer we seek for in the place of prayer can sometimes be seen as a victory note rather than a literal physical manifestation

- We ought to train ourselves to not be anxious such as Christ Jesus inside the boat during a storm

- The believer can overcome anxiousness by going to the place of prayer, praying in supplication, and adding thanksgiving onto the Lord

- In the place of prayer the first way to know we have received an answer is when the peace of God surpasses us {Philippians 4:7}

- Sometimes we pray to know how to deal with the issues we are in

- The Holy Spirit abides with us forever and is our refuge, our strength, our sustainer and our source

- The Holy Spirit is our ever present help at all times, therefore we are never helpless

- The Sweet Precious Holy Spirit is a guide, and guides us to play our roles perfectly in all His will

- The Holy Spirit seeks to glorify God in our lives hence why we are being made into a perfect Christian

- God through the Holy Spirit tells us things to come, not just in a prophetic way but in our lives

- The Holy Spirit aids us to pray

- The believers confidence and reliance is in the Lord

- The believers strength is in the Lord and is in the power of His might.

- When God tells us to be strong it’s not just an instruction, within the Word, our Father communicates that there is an ability to be

- The believer is strong by hearing the sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ

- Faith comes by hearing which is an action the believer must do and will be blessed

- Every Christian has faith, but the faith we have oughts to be built and made strong

- In the realm of the Spirit whatever you hear becomes a part of you

- Faith can be communicated, fear can also be communicated

- Strength comes from what we allow in our ears

- Words are constructive and can construct our perception

- The believer is also strong by being a doer of God’s Word

- The New Testament Christian is a doer of God’s Word, obeys the Word, lives the Word, and accepts the Word

- We must put the Word of God into action in our lives by speaking forth the Word

- We are MORE than conquers

* Prayer of inquiry

-The reason why we inquire of the Lord, is for discernment.

We also learnt of the reasons why we must spend time to pray:

-There is an assurance of a God, there is a God, He is God

-Prayer is God’s invitation extended to man

-God wants us to pray and wants to hear from us

-We pray because there’s an assurance of God’s love for us

Our Man of God also delved into Prayer Of Forgiveness both in God’s side and our side:

* Gods part

-God never uses our past against us.

-Don’t hold onto your past, let go!

-God covers your past.

-The Father is ready to forgive you.

-It is the Fathers joy to forgive you

* Our part

-Forgive people in advance before they hurt and offend you.

-We forgive others because we are forgiven.

-The most powerful tool on earth is the tool of forgiveness

Example is when you petition God about something, and all of sudden there’s a change in heart desires. This is a sign that the father has answered your prayer.

• Prayer yields result

This kind of prayer often moves from personal matters into situational matters and matters that involved people. In this kind of prayer what we normally look for is a result not an answer. This kind of prayer is not offered once but continuously

* Rewards of prayer

This is a kind of prayer that has nothing to do with us, situation but has everything to deal with souls.

* Prayer of inquiry

This is a kind of prayer where we ask God a for directions and actively wait for an answer.

* The prayer of inquiry made the difference from Saul and David.

David always knew how to inquire of the Lord , Saul trusted in his own wisdom.
