We know a few more details about the gear changes coming to Star Wars The Old Republic when Expansion 6.0 drops in September. Onslaught will include changes to how your gear and stats work. There will be new pieces to chase called 'Tactical Items'. We don't know much about them, but we will go ahead and draw some wild conclusions anyway.

Last week, Kathleen Kennedy, president of LucasFilm, set our hair on fire by possibly stating there might be something relating to Knights of the Old Republic coming soon. It also may be pure fluff and marketing jargon. Let's listen to the quote and dissect it!

Now that Star Wars is a large part of the world wide popular culture, we're becoming saturated. What does this mean? Who is this good for? Its Friday and there has been a lot of news this week!

Most of it doesn't concern Star Wars The Old Republic, however, there has been an update on the new PVP that should be coming with Game Update 5.6.

Its not coming with Game Update 5.6. The new map has been delayed until December. We'd rather it be delayed and done correctly than on time and ruined.

If you've seen the Internet in the past week, you may have noticed quite a few posts about EA's launch of Star Wars Battlefront 2. The pay-to-win boxes and buying power seems like a really bad idea.

As luck would have it, EVERYONE thinks its a bad idea.

Server merges are approaching! The Forces begin to Unite! Unless you happen to play on the West Coast. SWTOR has closed the west coast data center and relocated those servers. Now all server are on the East Coast and this is causing some heartache and lag for APAC and West Coast players. We're hoping this can get resolved soon!

You may have noticed, but its October. Everywhere around us we see colors of fall and the sights of Halloween, with the exception of inside Swtor. There's not a lot of real-world holidays in The Old Republic. What gives?

The servers are back online, and calm has been restored to the land of Swtor. Let's discuss what happened. The daily areas that aren't Iokath are still giving out oodles of CXP. This is such a wonderful development, that we never want it to change! But what about the other daily CXP bonus activities? Is there a good way to make this bug a feature? Is it a payoff for having half a day of downtime during the patch that went awry? After the failed deployment of game update 5.4a, the servers were offline for hours. Now, people want their recompense. Is it deserved?
