While at Oberlin Conservatory, he studied bass with Peter Dominguez (and Eddie Gomez during Dominguez's sabbatical), studied electronic music and composition, and played in as many different kinds of ensembles as he could. He spent 2011 to 2015 in Chicago, where he worked as a teacher, composer, songwriter, sound designer, and instrumentalist.

Matt's work and performances have seen favorable coverage in several publications, including The New York Times, The LA Times, Entertainment Weekly, and the Allmusic Guide. He has worked with Four Larks, Laboratory Dancers (Chicago), Le Tour, Oberlin Dance Company, Fonema Consort, Jacaranda Music, High Concept Laboratories, Access Contemporary Music, Death & Pretzels, Sheet Ghosts, Naomi Greene, Lyris Quartet, Antonio Lysy, and several other artist and groups around the Minneapolis, Oberlin, Chicago, and Los Angeles areas.

During her six-year stay in the city, she absorbed its vibrant cultural landscape, exploring various art forms, including dance and the legacy of hip-hop. Brady's time at Columbia involved working as a Teacher's Assistant at Barnard College and collaborating with different production companies as a reader. At age 12 started her own business as a horse trainer and exerciser. In her teens, she moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at Los Angeles Valley College. She worked various part-time jobs while taking classes in business, nutrition science, and child development.

During that time, she was approached by a photographer who encouraged Walker to go into modeling and signed with Elite Model Management. When she was 18 years old, Walker moved to Milan, Italy and started her professional model and acting career. In the 1990s she was featured in major Hollywood productions, including City Slickers (1991), Dante's Peak (1997) & Lunarcop (1995), as well as US and international TV shows, including Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), and Die Gang (1997), to name a few. Some of the projects she worked on took her to locations such as to South Africa where she was able to meet and spend time with Nelson Mandela before his election, laugh backstage with Shirley MacLaine when she was on tour in Africa, and play with baby lions and see wild African elephants in their habitat. Another project took her into the countryside of East Berlin while living in Hamburg Germany during the shooting of a TV series.

Walker's image and talents have also been used in dozens of commercials and Ad campaigns for popular national and international brands. In addition to traditional acting roles, she has also hosted and done voice over for several of the brands.

In 2001, Walker married Jeff Stafford, and she and her husband raised her stepdaughter. Raising a child motivated her to stay closer to home with her work. During that time, she took courses at Santa Monica College and Orange Coast College as well as serving as a board member of her community organization for a period of time, where her responsibilities included organizing the Neighborhood Watch program for 1700 residents as well as addressing safety & security issues with the city on behalf of the community. She established working relationships with the Mayor, Councilman, and various city officials as a result.

Walker and her husband enjoy stand up paddling, hiking, golf, mountain biking, and spending active time out in nature at every opportunity with their family in Southern California.

]]> <p>Walker Brandt was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California on July 13, 1966. At age 12 started her own business as a horse trainer and exerciser. In her teens, she moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at Los Angeles Valley College. She worked various part-time jobs while taking classes in business, nutrition science, and child development.</p><p>During that time, she was approached by a photographer who encouraged Walker to go into modeling and signed with Elite Model Management. When she was 18 years old, Walker moved to Milan, Italy and started her professional model and acting career. In the 1990s she was featured in major Hollywood productions, including City Slickers (1991), Dante&#39;s Peak (1997) &amp; Lunarcop (1995), as well as US and international TV shows, including Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), and Die Gang (1997), to name a few. Some of the projects she worked on took her to locations such as to South Africa where she was able to meet and spend time with Nelson Mandela before his election, laugh backstage with Shirley MacLaine when she was on tour in Africa, and play with baby lions and see wild African elephants in their habitat. Another project took her into the countryside of East Berlin while living in Hamburg Germany during the shooting of a TV series.</p><p>Walker&#39;s image and talents have also been used in dozens of commercials and Ad campaigns for popular national and international brands. In addition to traditional acting roles, she has also hosted and done voice over for several of the brands.</p><p>In 2001, Walker married Jeff Stafford, and she and her husband raised her stepdaughter. Raising a child motivated her to stay closer to home with her work. During that time, she took courses at Santa Monica College and Orange Coast College as well as serving as a board member of her community organization for a period of time, where her responsibilities included organizing the Neighborhood Watch program for 1700 residents as well as addressing safety &amp; security issues with the city on behalf of the community. Since then, “Cass” has become known industry-wide for his hard-hitting action in major motion pictures like Black Panther, multiple Spider-Man and Ant-Man movies, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, Captain America: Civil War, Salt, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 1 and 2, The Dark Knight Rises, and many others. His television appearances include episodes of Punk’d, Dexter, CSI, Friday Night Lights, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Sons of Anarchy. He has also done motion capture work for EA Sports’ Madden NFL, HALO, Gears of War, and many other video games, and trained performers Nicki Minaj, Rhianna, Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber for specialized action in their music videos.

Prior to becoming a stuntman, Cass was a standout high school and college athlete who went on to play professional baseball and SlamBall (an extreme form of full-contact basketball), which was televised on Spike TV in the early 2000s. He also taught middle school outside Washington, D.C., before answering Hollywood’s call.

Cass was born on Long Island, New York, in 1977 with a severe facial deformity that made him the target of intense bullying throughout his childhood, causing him to think deeply about matters of identity, self-assurance, and the way social roles are constructed. That experience, along with his lifelong dream of teaching and coaching young people, led him to bringing Ninja Nation to the Charlotte area. A place where kids will not only learn fun athletic skills but also become the recipients of Cass’s real-world lessons in confidence, humility, poise, and teamwork.

Cass lives with his wife, Megan, and their daughters Victoria, Blake, and Rae in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they enjoy the nearby lake, golf courses, sports teams, year-round community events, and time with friends and family.

Variety named her "Top 10 Cinematographers to Watch" in 2020.

She certainly deserves the accolades.

Anka has had an incredible career as a cinematographer, with work including Monsterland, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, and Steve Buscemi's upcoming film, The Listener, starring Tessa Thompson.

Truly a director’s cinematographer, Anka listens to her collaborators with a deep heart and intent, resulting in powerful friendships and collaborations.

Anka has continually sought out and created work that is bold and diverse. She is as adept at leading a hundred-person crew through the monsoon-soaked jungles of South East Asia as she is at cultivating an intimate atmosphere on a three-person documentary shoot. Through her work, she has hobnobbed with dignitaries and diplomats and hung out with East L.A. gangsters. She speaks three languages fluently and is comfortably conversational in half a dozen more, which only enhances Anka’s ability to make absolutely anyone and everyone feel comfortable in front of the lens.

The daughter of a Himalayan mountain climber and Polish immigrant scientist mother, Anka is deeply passionate about living an inspired life. Outside of filmmaking, Anka herself is a mother, a wife, a surfer, a yogi, a traveler, and a purposefully inspiring human being. Usually living in New York and Los Angeles, when she is not on set she spends the majority of the time traveling with her husband and son. For six months during the COVID pandemic in 2020, they resided in Nicaragua.

]]> <p><span>American Cinematographer Magazine named Anka Malatynska as one of the “10 Rising Stars of Cinematography 2019.&#34;</span></p><p><span>Variety named her &#34;Top 10 Cinematographers to Watch&#34; in 2020.</span></p><p><span>She certainly deserves the accolades.</span></p><p><span>Anka has had an incredible career as a cinematographer, with work including Monsterland, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, and Steve Buscemi&#39;s upcoming film, The Listener, starring Tessa Thompson.</span></p><p><span>Truly a director’s cinematographer, Anka listens to her collaborators with a deep heart and intent, resulting in powerful friendships and collaborations.</span></p><p><span>Anka has continually sought out and created work that is bold and diverse. She is as adept at leading a hundred-person crew through the monsoon-soaked jungles of South East Asia as she is at cultivating an intimate atmosphere on a three-person documentary shoot. Through her work, she has hobnobbed with dignitaries and diplomats and hung out with East L.A. gangsters. She speaks three languages fluently and is comfortably conversational in half a dozen more, which only enhances Anka’s ability to make absolutely anyone and everyone feel comfortable in front of the lens.</span></p><p><span>The daughter of a Himalayan mountain climber and Polish immigrant scientist mother, Anka is deeply passionate about living an inspired life. Outside of filmmaking, Anka herself is a mother, a wife, a surfer, a yogi, a traveler, and a purposefully inspiring human being. Usually living in New York and Los Angeles, when she is not on set she spends the majority of the time traveling with her husband and son. LENA! tells the story of a culturally diverse neighborhood through the eyes of a dyslexic, adopted seven-year-old from Guatemala who is always looking for ways to help her friends and family.

In the horror feature space, Kelton is deeply involved and will executive produce a female-driven pregnancy horror penned by Sehaj Sethi.

In digital, Kelton recently produced and starred in the series, PRIDE: THE SERIES, which is now available on Amazon Prime.

She is an active member of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society and the Television Academy.

Kelton began her career in Austin, Texas, working in various capacities on many feature films. She starred in LOOK AT ME AGAIN, SNATCH N GRAB, ABRAM’S HAND and TURKEY DAY. Interested in the world behind the camera, Kelton then went on the star in and produce GOIN’ GUERILLA, 3 REFERENCES, QUAD X I & II, DISASSOCIATIONVILLE, and HOMECOMING I/II. Throughout this time, she was also involved in numerous short films. Kelton’s work has been featured in film festivals around the United States and internationally; including the Austin Film Festival where 3 REFERENCES premiered and was nominated for an audience choice award. He was a producing partner at Pelagius Films from 2002 to 2009. In 2009, he produced his first documentary, "Adjust Your Color: The Truth of Petey Green", narrated by Don Cheadle. This documentary was the follow-up to the acclaimed "Talk to Me", from Universal's Focus Features, and it was distributed by PBS's "Independent Lens. It went on to win the program's Audience Award for the year.


A screenwriter by trade, he wrote the final polish draft for "Talk to Me". Following the film's success, DeMars broke from Pelagius to focus on screenwriting. One current project, "Ring of Deceit", written by DeMars, is based on a true story involving two men who embezzled $87 million from Wells Fargo in Los Angeles and used the money to finance the biggest fights in boxing in the early 80's; it currently has Antoine Fuqua attached to direct.


In 2012, DeMars began researching college athletes' rights. Instead of waiting for one of his screenplays to get made, he decided to make a movie about something he cared about. This became the impetus for "The Business of Amateurs", a documentary that makes the case that the NCAA places the profits of colleges ahead of the best interests of athletes and their families. As a former USC football player, DeMars pulls no punches in the film, tackling many beats, from the exploitation of the college athlete to the prevalence of brain trauma inherent to college football. He systematically points out the hypocrisy and injustices that, in some cases, are life or death issues."You don't make documentaries to make money; you make them to make a difference", says DeMars. ]]> <p>Bob DeMars is an award-winning filmmaker with over 15 years of experience producing, writing, and directing. He was a producing partner at Pelagius Films from 2002 to 2009. In 2009, he produced his first documentary, &#34;Adjust Your Color: The Truth of Petey Green&#34;, narrated by Don Cheadle. This documentary was the follow-up to the acclaimed &#34;Talk to Me&#34;, from Universal&#39;s Focus Features, and it was distributed by PBS&#39;s &#34;Independent Lens. It went on to win the program&#39;s Audience Award for the year.</p><p><br></p><p>A screenwriter by trade, he wrote the final polish draft for &#34;Talk to Me&#34;. Following the film&#39;s success, DeMars broke from Pelagius to focus on screenwriting. One current project, &#34;Ring of Deceit&#34;, written by DeMars, is based on a true story involving two men who embezzled $87 million from Wells Fargo in Los Angeles and used the money to finance the biggest fights in boxing in the early 80&#39;s; it currently has Antoine Fuqua attached to direct.</p><p><br></p><p>In 2012, DeMars began researching college athletes&#39; rights. Instead of waiting for one of his screenplays to get made, he decided to make a movie about something he cared about. This became the impetus for &#34;The Business of Amateurs&#34;, a documentary that makes the case that the NCAA places the profits of colleges ahead of the best interests of athletes and their families. As a former USC football player, DeMars pulls no punches in the film, tackling many beats, from the exploitation of the college athlete to the prevalence of brain trauma inherent to college football. He systematically points out the hypocrisy and injustices that, in some cases, are life or death issues.&#34;You don&#39;t make documentaries to make money; you make them to make a difference&#34;, says DeMars. &#34;The Business of Amateurs&#34; is was ranked as one of the top 20 documentaries on iTunes for 2016. However, it wasn't until he was much older after attempting a career in the emergency medical field and co-owning a cupcake shop that he decided to take his chance in the industry. Zach attended the Digital Animation and Visual Effects School out of Orlando, Florida, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in VFX Production.

His first big break was working with MPC Vancouver as a compositor on Justice League, Fifty Shades Freed, The Strain, and several other projects. As his time with MPC was coming to a close, he became enamored with the production side of the industry. Through some furthering education and immense drive, Zach landed his first gig in production with Falcon's Creative Group. While working in themed entertainment, he thrived as a production coordinator and later took on additional responsibilities as the casting director and unit production manager for live-action. During his time with Falcon's Creative Group, Zach was able to work with clients such as Marvel Entertainment, National Geographic, PBS, and many more. However, his favorite assignment was as the unit production manager and lead post-production coordinator for Halo: Outpost Discovery, a traveling meta-interactive experience.

Though he enjoyed his time in themed entertainment, Zach always longed to get back into the film and television industry, and in 2019 Crafty Apes VFX offered him that golden opportunity. Since his return, Zach has worked on over twenty film or television projects across three visual effects studios. He is known for his attention to detail and his thoughtfulness when it comes to clients. Some of his standout credits include Mulan, Star Trek: Picard, Cry Macho, and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.

In his time away from the studio, Zach enjoys helping up-and-coming filmmakers with their production, visual effects, and casting needs through his company, Throw the Knife Productions.

About Karen Grassle:

Karen Grassle is known around the world for her portrayal of the iconic character of “Ma” on Little House on the Prairie. Karen grew up beside the Pacific Ocean in Ventura, California, where she lived until graduating from high school. While studying at the University of California at Berkeley, she discovered her calling and began to pursue training in acting. She joined the esteemed Actor’s Workshop in San Francisco, studied at the Pasadena Playhouse, graduated from UC Berkeley, and received a Fulbright to study in London at the famed London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

While living in New York City, Karen worked at resident theatres all over the country and trained as a Linklater Voice teacher to keep the “wolf from the door.” Within a couple of years of arriving in New York, she made her Broadway debut, later appearing in the NY Shakespeare Festival in Central Park with such luminaries as Sam Waterston and Christopher Walken.

A role in an independent movie drew her back to California where the film promptly fell through and left her stranded. This was the situation when she received a fateful phone call and was asked to meet about a new TV show called Little House on the Prairie. Steeped in Shakespeare and the theatre, Karen asked “Michael Landon? Which one of the brothers from Bonanza is he?”

During her years on television, Karen co-created the TV movie Battered and advocated for women’s issues. After 8 seasons on Little House, Karen married and she and her husband adopted a baby, fulfilling Karen’s dream to be a mom. Although the marriage did not succeed, she was grateful to have the opportunity to be a mother. She continued to appear on television and also stood by on Broadway for Mary Tyler Moore and Lynn Redgrave. She has continued to work in major roles, spending six years at Actors Theatre of Louisville, and later, at theatres near her home in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as around the U.S. and Canada. Her most recent film, Not to Forget, was released in 2021. This lighthearted film revolves around the issue of dementia and family.

Samantha's career began in the entertainment industry, under the mentorship of David Geffen at his venerable record label, Geffen Records working with artists Nirvana, Guns' N Roses, and Aerosmith. She went on to become Creative Director at Gramercy Pictures (now Focus Films.) Samantha's creative vision brought prominence to such independent features as Dazed and Confused, Fargo, The Usual Suspects, and Four Weddings And A Funeral. She continued her run of hits at Fox Searchlight with Waking Ned Devine and Boys Don't Cry before moving to Universal Pictures as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. Segueing to commercial advertising in 2004, she owned and operated Foundation Content, the production/editorial powerhouse she co-founded in Chicago with James Lipetzky, before the duo rebranded in Los Angeles as Wild Bill Creative in 2017.

BLIND PONY As True A Story As I Can Tell, is Sam's first book, and was published on March 15, 2021, now available everywhere. Publisher's Weekly calls it "Unforgettable and raw… Hart's powerful debut, a gritty memoir rife with graphic details of abuse and triumph over it will break hearts." Michelle is the fourth of six children from a Chilean-Canadian family. Born in Calgary, she grew up in Toronto and Vancouver. After studying Theatre and Classical Literature at the University of Toronto, Michelle went on to pursue a career in theatre and film.

Already recognized by her country and by major organizations as an expert in her field, Vicki has made great strides for someone her age. At only 24 years of age, she was one of the youngest speakers and presenters at the SMPTE Annual Technical Conference in its time, where she was a panelist and speaker for virtual reality in motion pictures.

Growing up in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the fishing town that served as the setting for Herman Melville’s novel Moby Dick, Jared drew his early inspiration from both literary and filmic monsters; his favorite childhood films were Creepshow, Jaws, and Star Wars. From a young age, Jared wrote stories and made home movies with schoolyard friends. In high school, he joined the award-winning New Bedford High School Drama Club and played a number of high-profile roles, including the role of Victor Frankenstein in their production of Frankenstein. A budding screenwriter, Jared immersed himself in every aspect of the film industry, from acting to writing to directing, and even began a decade-long correspondence with legendary film composer Jerry Goldsmith, whose work, to this day, sets the tone for much of Jared’s writing.

Today, Jared is a screenwriter, producer, director, author, actor, and voice actor. He wrote the screenplay for the Kevin Greutert-directed feature film Jackals starring Stephen Dorff (released by Scream Factory in 2017).

Since 2014, he has written, directed and acted in multiple episodes of Earbud Theater, an award-winning audio drama anthology podcast series specializing in horror and science fiction. In 2016, he received an Audio Verse Award nomination for his performance in the Earbud Theater episode "On the Line," which he also wrote and directed. His 2016 Earbud Theater episode "Are You Sleeping?" was one of the subjects discussed in the published academic paper, “Put On Your Headphones And Turn Out The Lights: Exploring Immersive Auditory Horror in 3D-Sound Podcasting” by Danielle Hancock (University of East Anglia). 

Jared served as a guest lecturer at the Drexel University Great Works Symposium’s “Zom Con” in 2015; contributed an essay to the 2018 collection My Favorite Horror Movie; and he has co-hosted the monthly trivia event “Dead Right Horror Trivia” with Dr. Rebekah McKendry since 2015.

In September 2018, Jared served as an instructor at the first-ever class of the Los Angeles branch of the Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies, moderating a career-spanning discussion with renowned indie-horror filmmaker, Don Coscarelli.
