By turning the team's game-winning aggression down to zero and then tossing the knob into the Detroit River, Shanahan and Co. provided the Lions with an opportunity for an improbable comeback.

The 49ers' four-touchdown blowout over the first 40 minutes immediately took a sharp turn in Detroit's favor, before the contest finally reached its end with the Lions driving deep into San Francisco territory, down by a score.
