Hosted by a longtime cosplayer, Brightest Day with nearly a decade of experience, Beyond the Costume goes beyond the characters and costumes to explore the people who bring this community to life.

Each episode features conversations with cosplayers, photographers, videographers, makeup artists, comic artists, performers, creators, and other passionate members of the fandom.

From the first spark of inspiration to convention adventures, creative challenges, memorable experiences, and everything in between, guests get the chance to share the stories behind their passions and what cosplay means to them.

Because there’s always more to someone’s story than what you see in the costume.
