Mom usually tunes in at the end because she shuts the TV off when it's all the "drama with all the girls bein' mean", which is just about as Kathy as it gets. Em's mom is an angel and a caring, empathetic person just like Em so this episode went off without a hitch and lots of mom and daughter banter. We chat everything from finale, hometown reflections, Susie and Clayton's post show relationship, the army of strong women that taught Colto-CLAYTON some very important lessons, our love for Jesse, and everything in-between.

Like mother like daughter, we only have sympathy and hope for everyone involved in this season...even the meathead himself. Oh, and Emily likes Rachel now! Enjoy BBs

Court is in session because Emily needs to be TRIED for the amount of time that's passed since recording...😂and also because we tuned in to Michelle's Apology Court last week as she heard each case, accepted each apology as hands continued to raise, and found at least four of those men guilty for spewing bullshit at the Men Tell All (Jamie & Martin especially) lololol

This episode is Emily solo recapping the last THREE episodes we missed, as Aubrey is planning her wedding, guests were busy and this shit had to get done quite frankly.

But it is a FUN episode and a first for Emily to be on the mic solo.

She covers: Brandon's Minnesota one on one/Clayton's exit episode (and Bachelor reveal I mean basically... did you see him crying into that dramatic letter that a bunch of kids he didn't know wrote him and the ten extra minutes of screen time he got AFTER being sent home), Hometowns, & Men Tell All. In record time might we add..Aubrey will be so proud.

So Chris is officially star douche of this production, although Martin ended up coming in close second after putting his foot in his mouth later on at the cocktail party. Surprisingly Michelle decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, pinning a rose on Martin, and not Casey or Leroy. Bye Bye.

Overall, this episode was awesome. Aside from petty drama mentioned above, Michelle is still kicking ass, and nothing gets by her. Two amazing one on one dates with profound conversations, insane chemistry, and food no one touched...and overall she has a great group of grounded guys that are calling bullshit right along side us.

Oh what's that? It's only been like...two weeks??

Aubrey and Em are back, in this one they break down the premiere episode as well as episode two. About an hour in we switch over. Michelle seems to not even be phased about her position, is already acting mature, kind of talks to everyone like a teacher, not sure how well that's gonna work, but guys we are on this ride and it ain't stopping. It's also wholesome af so far besides creepy note guy.

Chances are if there's any emergency, Michelle will def be one of those teachers next to the lunch ladies that helps everyone jump out the exit door on the side of the bus though..so we're in good hands.

Aubrey and Emily go through the last two episodes and focus a lot on the confusing jumble of drama spilling over onto the beach from the hotel, and in combination with 50 storylines happening everyone's like girl what? At least Em and Aubrey were. Where's Tia and why is she so lost in the sauce? Why is Ivan actually a lame and then has to go to the principal's office with BartenderHostPrincipalWells? Do people actually like Aaron? Is anyone going to rescue James from Paradise? The world may never know.

Also WHEN are people going to stop being thrown down the stairs like a gumball machine onto the beach?? Stay with us BB's because that three-hour episode had us all questioning our loyalty to Bach 😂

This week Aub and Em are back together and it's always good times. This episode felt like an episode of Couples Therapy, kinda heavy, but a lot was covered and it was still fun. Natasha gets a second shot at love a first in BIP history, and for some reason Wells is still conducting rose ceremonies in his bar shirt. Love you don't change but actually please change the man's shirt that's all we ask. Or bring back Spade. Tami cries a literal river of tears before stealing a cupcake. Kendall bought a front row ticket with reclining seats in 3D for some reason to view her ex sucking face, all before leaving upset/Ivan couldn't read the room. By the end of this episode I think we all just needed a nice hug from Thomas.

Anywho, the podcast is joined by another guest this week, Aubrey's fiancé Renato! It was only fitting we hit you with both of the dudes back to back. Aub and Renato discuss week 3 of BIP as newbies and we're here for it. Monday is first 30 minutes, Tuesday is the second.

Special episode this week....Emily is joined on the Bed Bach and Beyond podcast by Jason! Jason and Em have been dating four years and all the while bitching about what happens on every season on everything bachelor...so it's about time!

Kind of had to twist his arm, kind of didn't...but his addition makes for a different type of convo with some couple banter which c'mon thats always super fun.

We miss you Aubrey! Also apparently Jason retired after this 50 minute episode so obviously we're gonna need you back. (He'll be jealous of you next week).

Already so much fun breaking the first episode down, and Aubrey has never seen it at all let alone with CH!! Remember how we mentioned missing his formalities on Katie's season? Well I hope they threw them overboard for Paradise because that sh*t never belonged here! 😝

Gaslighting is brought up as well, really diving into the definition and why it's sneaky manipulation (even if the defensive person doing said gaslighting isn't even consciously aware). Since many people used Katie's exposure of the word on the live show against her, we talk about how it may have been glazed over... but the fact that it was mentioned and talked about in such a raw light mattered in terms of progressing. 💪🏻

The ladies also talk about how women who are angry publicly usually get victim blamed or demonized by society, while humanizing the man who hurt her is the easier thing to do. Either way we Stan Katie always for talking about hard things and being brave for women everywhere that night in the hot seat.

Oh yeah and we also gush over Blake and his strength/support for Katie until the very end....and how Greg's "love" for Katie was bullshit.

Sooo we can all agree we didn't think Monday's episode would go down quite like this. Aubrey and Emily discuss the first two hometown dates with Blake and Justin, and finish with lots of discussion about Greg of course and his exit from the show for good (we assume).

This podcast episode touched on subjects relating to emotional abuse and personal experience, as well as discussing Katie and Greg's ultimate fall out conversation that went really downhill quickly, and the intense realizations that were made by both our wonderful lead and also the audience viewing it.

This episode was hard for a lot of people to watch, so just know we get real nitty gritty about the feelings that were felt while watching. If you're one of the people confused about why so many people are upset with Greg, this may be informative to you.

Em and Aubrey do a warp speed review of the remaining three episodes that needed commentary before hometowns next week (including the Tell-All!).

So basically the episode that Connor leaves and literally everyone cries a river, the next episode that takes Andrew approximately 30 minutes to fully get in the Escalade (😥), and finally Michael's super unfortunate exit / the Tell-All.

Buckle up! Hopefully some of you are like me and forgot to tune in anyway, so we got everything you need to catch up in a nice little bundle with a pretty bow on top!

The ambulance promo has been showing this past week, there's always an ambulance promo. Did Bachelor actually have to call the wahmbulance?? Was it just promo bait?? Does Hunter explode with love?? I mean you probably know you watched the episode.

Our girl pulls a good ole man swap that even we didn't see coming. And also has a pretty full on Game of Thrones esqe moment that closes out the episode like whaaaaaaaaat!?

We also learn that Mike doesn't eat carbs (weird), Tre is good with words (cute), and Greg's just... Greg (ew)

We love a genuine One-on-One and we love a good "He interrupted my time" ...this episode had both!

Aubrey and Em join up for some laughs, sips, and an overview of Katie's first 2 episodes. Nothing says romance like a skin salesman! This season is pretty textbook so far, but things are just getting started...

By the way both ladies were literally in bed while recording this time around, and it ended up being super comf, so let the literal Bed, Baching & Beyonding begin!

As far as ATFR and the final conversations that we saw...we aren't in a place to discuss their how it was handled, or if any of the televised discussion landed because aren't directly effected by the pain this season has caused people. While it's not their job to educate us, if they're sharing their stories we need to listen. The viewers are also shown a very intimate scene pretty much right off the bat that seemed exploitative to a degree, which we talk about. Matt's poise and maturity he shows through the conversation, as well choosing to air this scene in general, overshadows the franchises' poor storytelling choice. He shows Bachelor Nation how important it is to have clear and direct communication, something he's done many times, as he wades his way around yet another ignorant production mess that has been dumped in his way.

We also chat about how the franchises' "storytelling" in general is starting to take things to far, especially this season, as we start to break down the final relationships Matt has and how they're being relayed to those watching as well as the lead himself.

Amalia is back to co-host with Em for this one, as we break down the Women Tell All which left a lot to be desired. We get into all of it obviously! Matt shows up as well as his plus 1, a beard...and he addressed some of the women he sent home.

Chris puts some of the favorites in the hot seat and a lot of footage is shared that we never saw. We were hoping they got into more nitty gritty, but maybe because of recent controversy they didn't? Either way, we take care of that for you.

But make no mistake, lots of great chats in this episode about exactly why we felt that way and what it could be stemming from. Em is joined by a guest co-host this week, Amalia! Aubrey and Emily have been friends with Amalia for years and it took her about five minutes to become obsessed with the Bachelor. We missed Aub, but it was fun to sit down with Mal and hear all her smarty pants thoughts!

We spend a lot of time breaking down a lot of the overarching themes of all four "family visits" (cough moving through Lots 1-4 on the Nemacolin resort) and the issues we have with production not really showing us anything of value thus far from any of the final four women as well as Matt himself.

This episode was so wild and fun to watch (Emily's favorite so far), and there was so much to cover. Off the bat Matt quite literally starts "cleaning house". One of our favorites goes home, some leave on their own accord, and by the end we're left with the most diverse final four in franchise history. We also discuss feeling like we're left wanting more from a lot of the relationships, one in particular...

Matt also exhibits some unexpected 'I love you too" self control, while somehow the bullying energy hasn't completely been eliminated and the past weeks drama won't seem to die.

By the way, the CH shit storm hadn't happened when we recorded this, so just know we're gonna be chugging that tea so hard it burns our throat next week. ☕️
