He talks about the historical story, lessons for today around racial tension and mental illness, the nature of faith and his hopes for how the story will be received. The Nowata community will surely be interested to learn tidbits of historical fact that he drops, correcting many false rumors over the years. Viewers and listeners will also be interested to learn about all the ways in which the Nowata community has been involved in the production of this venture, and the ways that this could potentially benefit our community into the future. This segment deals with a church that has been on my heart for several months as they have faced several serious challenges, the likes of which American churches almost never have to deal with. Take some time to learn about Gwarimpa Abuja and their pastor, Rev. Absalom Nuhu. Rev. Nuhu was recently robbed by some thugs, losing not only his money, but also his phone and laptop. My hope is that we can come alongside him and his church to bless them materially and spiritually in their time of need. They have already started construction and need our aid in order to see it through. I pray for generous hearts!
