What started as a way to feed her five kids during unprecedented times grew into an organization that has raised over $35,000 at their recent annual fundraiser and operates 1.8 acres of educational edible landscape.</p><p>From teaching over 100 students where their food really comes from to creating Lulu&#39;s Garden Club (an intergenerational program connecting seniors in assisted living with youth through therapeutic gardening) April discusses how she&#39;s building &#34;power and purpose&#34; by planting seeds in both the ground and in people.
