• Some just want to voice their passion. They have something to say and they want an audience. But they don't want to learn how to podcast. They hire people to do that "Podcastie Stuff"
• Some are like the first type, but don't have the money to pay others to produce their shows. They just want to know enough to get their episodes published.
• Then there are the podcasters who have a message, and love the technology of podcasting.

I am in the third category. I started podcasting in 2012 and it has changed my life. I love testing anything to do with producing podcasts.

In fact, the reason this podcast is even here is so I can play with Red Circle. What is Red Circle? It's a free Podcasting platform that wants to:

So what do I want in a podcast file hosting company?

1. I want to own and be in control of my RSS feed.
2. I want the hosting company to provide a RSS feed redirect if I ever decide to change hosting companies.
3. I need quick, qualified, support if something goes wrong.
4. I want detailed IAB 2.0 compliant download reporting
5. I want detailed stats that breaks down to the episode level.

I know, Podcasters are a fickle bunch. But, if you are going to be a Podcast Platform, you are going to have to deal with us.
