• After working as a designer for printing and web development companies, I decided to start my own business. My husband and I were surprised with a pregnancy, but were excited to be young parents. A month after our daughter was born, we found out she had a terminal genetic condition (SMA type 1) and would likely not see her first birthday. 

I became Skylar's full-time mom and caregiver and I loved every second of it. She was the greatest joy and I was so grateful for the time we had together. When she died at 21 months old, I knew I would need something to get me out of bed, so I started my own companies - one for portrait and wedding photography and one for corporate photography and branding/design. 

Anytime I heard of someone facing a terminal diagnosis, I volunteered to do a free portrait session. Most people took me up on it, and amazing stories of impact came out of each session and the prints/books I would give people. My husband lovingly reminded me we had bills to pay and I couldn't keep giving everything away, and I agreed. But I also knew this was important, meaningful work that needed to continue without charging families who were suffering. I believed I could find other people to join me in giving it all away and formed a non-profit with a vision to scale to a national level and serve people everywhere.

Dannelle Walker Whiteside currently serves as Vice President for Legal Affairs and Organizational Strategy at Austin Peay State University where she is the institution’s chief legal officer and also oversees public relations and marketing and strategic initiatives. Kim White is a proven civic and community leader with a passion for making a difference. She is recognized as someone with the tenacity to take on critical issues and overcome tough challenges. Kim most recently served as the president and CEO of River City Company, the non-profit development organization with a 35-year history focusing on the economic growth and development of downtown Chattanooga.

During her 11 years of leadership, over $1.2 billion dollars of private investment occurred in downtown, along with a renewed focus on downtown housing, better connections with UTC and the development of great public spaces. In recruiting development that helped implement the City Center Plan, a plan which revitalized a critical area of the city, Kim also secured over $7 million dollars in private donations to redevelop multiple public spaces including Miller Park. She also spearheaded the formation of the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance, bringing a commitment from property owners to inject an annual investment of approximately $1 million dollars to enhance services in the downtown core. While initially controversial, the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance has since seen much success and gained widespread support and accolades from the community.

In September 2020, Kim left River CIty Company and announced her bid to run for Mayor of Chattanooga in a crowded field of 15. Expand Your Game was born from the idea that maximizing potential and achieving optimal performance comes through mental skills development as much, if not more, than from anywhere else. Through all his successes, it's been easy to tell people the story of how the strategies he learned through playing the game of chess over the course of his life have set him up to be successful in business. This is the same story he is now seeing in kids today that he is teaching this game to. • Steve Twittey currently resides in Bangkok, Thailand. However, the beginning to his story starts on U.S. soil where he embarked on his young career as graduate from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After graduating from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Steve was able to find a job working in product development & quality control, where he remained for around 6 years. After his employer was bought out by Nabisco, Steve was given the opportunity to travel to & work in Singapore. After working in Singapore for a few years he was able to bounce around the globe to work in areas such as Venezuela & China.

Throughout his world travels Steve found himself compelled to pursue various endeavors, one of which being his pursuit to become a published author. • Billy Weeks started with The Chattanooga Times in 1984 as a staff photographer, rising to Director of Photography/Graphics in 1999. In 2010, Weeks became an independent documentary photographer. As a photojournalist, Weeks has covered assignments that range from the World Series to small villages in Central America and Asia. His photographs of poverty in Honduras won an Award of Excellence for editorial photography in the Communication Arts Photography Annual. He has won the Gordon Parks International Photography award twice and was awarded the Freedom of Information Award from the Associated Press. His photographs on baseball in the Dominican Republic and Central America were featured on CNN and Photography District News. In 2016 Billy spoke as one of the headline speakers at TEDxChattanooga.
