277 - ARIRANG Ticketing and Tour

With tickets for the Arirang World Tour going on sale and selling out in a matter of hours, ARMY has been through a lot of emotions this week! Kayla and Bethany were successful in securing tickets, and in this episode they're sharing their excitement getting them and their experience buying them. They look at which cities have had additional dates added due to "unprecedented demand" and talk about the president of Mexico's personal plea for more BTS tour dates in Mexico City.

Next they discuss the recently announced comeback concert in Seoul, which will also be broadcast live on Netflix on March 27th! And alongside that, a new Netflix documentary chronicling the creation of Arirang.

Whether or not you were able to get tickets to the tour, all of ARMY will be seeing BTS perform very soon from the comfort of our own living rooms!

While Jin is firmly in the spotlight, this album also features a variety of collaborations: the first track "Running Wild" was cowritten by Take That's Gary Barlow. In addition, the song "Heart on the Window" has guest vocals from Red Velvet's Wendy. Jin went all out for Happy and it clearly paid off, as Kayla and Bethany discuss in the episode.

Step into the sunshine with this week's episode of Stanning BTS, where hosts Kayla and Bethany officially welcome home BTS member j-hope from enlistment. Hobi joins Jin back in civilian life as the latter gears up to begin promoting his newly announced debut solo album, Happy. Listen now.

While the members weren't able to gather in full to usher j-hope back to civilian life, Jin was on site during the discharge to help his bandmate greet the press.

As ARMY continues to count down to a reunion in June 2025, Jin has rolled out more details about his optimistic-looking new album. Since Jin was the first to head out to complete the required military service period, he was only able to leave fans with a song (co-written with Coldplay), but has spent the months since his June discharge putting together a full collection of music.

Meanwhile, it's the perfect time to speculate what might be coming next from j-hope, who headlined Lollapalooza with a full-length solo album prior to enlistment. He also prepared a special set of music that arrived in the midst of his enlistment period.

We warmly invite you to participate in this special initiative. Whether you've been with BTS since the beginning or recently joined the ARMY, we encourage you to share your thoughts, feelings, and favorite memories. Kayla and Bethany just got back from the Agust D (SUGA of BTS) D-Day concert!

They had an amazing time - Yoongi had everyone raging and sobbing. ICONICS were plenty at the concert and the Iconic Meetup. And, they are so excited to finally share their experience with you.

In the past, Bethany and Kayla have supported Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness month but wanted to change it up a little this month by drawing attention to Skin Cancer Awareness Month.

Skin Cancer is the most common type of cancer, but, fortunately, it’s also the most preventable as well.

The easiest way to prevent it is to wear sunscreen and protective clothing such as hats and sunglasses. Wearing sunscreen every day will substantially reduce your risk factor, and yes its even necessary on cloudy days!

It’s National Occupational Therapy Month! Bethany is a dedicated OT, and this month we thank you for all of the quality care and compassion that you provide your patients with daily. This month we discussed how we could support OTs by supporting their patients through stroke after-care. Strokes can be highly debilitating but they also have highly successful rehabilitation outcomes within the first three months of recovery. But therapy is crucial to regain motor, sensory, and speech function. Unfortunately, a lot of time insurance will deny or cut therapy services short for stroke survivors. This past week was a blessing for BTS ARMY. We got both the jacket shooting sketch and the behind-the-scenes sketch for Jin's first intentional solo single, "The Astronaut." The Star Legacy Foundation has numerous resources about how to support bereaved parents with understanding, as well as education on prevention efforts which may lead to a reduction of these tragedies. Meanwhile, Bethany shares “the people we love” by almostsophie1, which sees Jeongguk finding an abandoned puppy on New Year's Eve, and somehow, everything seems to fall in place around them.
