The episode this week is perhaps the most important conversation I'll ever record because it features my mum! This podcast, literally, would not exist if not for her so it only felt fair to have her on the microphone.

We recorded this over zoom and my mum was quite nervous about the tech giving up halfway, but despite the mic quality on her end (I EQ'd my best), this conversation explores the loss of a parent and what it might be like for me to lose her someday.

We talk about how we connected as survivors of abuse, how my early years weighed on her and how our time away makes every moment spent together precious.
