One of those thoughts that hit you from nowhere and puts things a little more in perspective.

UNLUCKY

They said they’d stay forever

They said they’d never leave

We would face the world together

I wore my heart on my sleeve

My days were brighter, my nights warmer

I looked and felt good on the inside

There was no other feeling better

It was all love from this side.

They made everything better

I felt like I could take on the world with them by my side.

I felt invincible, with so much power

I don fall in love, Again I was off the streets.

Obsessed with this new feeling, to all my demeanor screamed Who de breettt!

But I guess I did too much or said something wrong.

I loved too hard or maybe not enough?

2 days turned to 2 months and from them my phone never rang

The beauty I felt within had long died

I felt useless, unwanted and undeserving

Oh how I cried.

How could one go from having pure bliss

For real this time, not the biscuit

To feeling like a burden they need to release

That’s just an evil plot twist

Did I once more just lose myself in love or did they lose me.

What’s the point in all this?

Is there a better love out there again

Or I guess maybe, I’m just unlucky

I looked in the mirror the other day and I saw a man

He looked a lot like me, And I swear he was fine, Gaddamn!

But he spoke and acted different

His words were hurtful

He looked down on people, was insensitive and cunning too.

That couldn’t be me I said.

I am nice and thoughtful

Or is that just an image in my head

I know I shouldn’t have said those words to that waiter the other day.

I know I should have held the elevator for that genitor at work today

Should I have not insulted that random lady’s picture on Facebook

Do you mean I shouldn’t have laughed at those disabled kids trying to do the legwork?

But they had it coming didn’t they

Why should I have to not be myself because they’d feel some type of way?

I mean, it was funny wasn’t it?

I have my freedom of speech don’t I?

Am I now responsible for how they feel about what I say?

(Question)

No you’re not.

But if it was you, on the receiving end?

Ever noticed how you constantly see a particular number or set of numbers over and over again for a long period of time? When you're going about you daily lives, these numbers are popping up in various ways.

What do they mean, are they a sign of some sort?
