We work through three things pulling us apart — the outrage algorithm, our own assumptions, and the pull of the extremes — and two practical ways to stay kingdom-minded: keep the main thing the main thing, and detox from the constant noise of the world (Romans 12:2).

A word for anyone who's lost a relationship, or their peace of mind, to politics.

Scriptures: Hebrews 12:28 · 1 Corinthians 6 · Ephesians 6:12 · Proverbs 18:2 · Matthew 17:14–18 · Romans 12:2 · John 17:14

Looking for a church in Saraland, AL?

Join us every Sunday at 10:30am at 907 Shelton Beach Rd, Saraland, AL 36571

We're building a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled church for all people.

0:00 Intro — United or Divided States?

1:19 What the Divide Is Costing Us

3:09 How Fast the Ground Is Shifting

5:06 Divided on Every Issue

8:20 We All Want the Same Thing

12:31 Party First, Country Second, Kingdom Last

14:14 We've Inherited a Kingdom

17:16 Be Involved, But Don't Idolize the Outcome

20:05 The Real Enemy Isn't Your Neighbor

21:26 #1 The Algorithm Wants You Outraged

25:27 The World Isn't as Bad as You Think

28:40 #2 Check Your Own Assumptions

38:00 #3 Beware the Extremes

42:24 Leave Your Politics in the Parking Lot

44:10 Detox from the World

51:56 Politics for a Better Life

Is divine healing real? Is it biblical? And if it is — why aren't more people walking in it?

In this message from our series "We Are Openly Spirit-Filled," Pastor Jason Mayfield tackles one of the most debated and misunderstood topics in the modern church: divine healing. Not with hype. Not with gimmicks. But with a straightforward, scripture-heavy walk through what the Bible actually says about God's desire and provision to heal His people.

Starting in Isaiah 53, Pastor Jason lays the foundation that healing wasn't an afterthought — it was provided at the cross. The same sacrifice that purchased your forgiveness also purchased your healing. They're inseparable provisions of the same atonement. But before he even gets there, he addresses the thing that keeps more believers from receiving healing than anything else — and it's probably not what you'd expect.

From there, the message unpacks five biblical realities about healing that every believer needs to understand: that healing is provided in the atonement, that God has always identified Himself as a healer, that healing is explicitly God's will, that healing covers more than just the physical body, and that walking in healing requires personal revelation — not just repetition.

This isn't a message that dodges the hard questions. Pastor Jason openly talks about his own surgeries, his own pain, and the tension between preaching divine healing while living in a body that sometimes breaks down. He's not selling you a magic formula. He's pointing you to the finished work of Jesus and challenging you to build your theology on what the Bible says — not on what your circumstances say.

One of the most powerful moments in this message comes toward the end, when Pastor Jason breaks down why so many people in Word of Faith circles are quoting the right scriptures and still seeing no results. Using John chapter 1, he draws a line between simply saying the Word and the Word actually becoming flesh — becoming real, becoming revelation — in your life. It's a distinction that most preachers skip over, and it might be the missing piece for a lot of people listening to this.

Whether you're believing God for healing right now, you've been wrestling with doubt about whether God even wants to heal you, or you just want to understand what the Bible teaches on the subject, this episode is for you.

Scriptures referenced: Isaiah 53:4-5, Romans 8:1, Matthew 8:16-17, Exodus 15:22-26, Matthew 8:2-3, John 5:19, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Ephesians 1:3, Romans 8:11, Mark 11:20-24, John 1:1-17, James 5:14-15

This message is part of the "We Are Openly Spirit-Filled" series at Saraland Church. It's a practical revelation about how the anointing travels from the source to your life—and what happens when the golden pipe gets disconnected.

Key Verse: "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts." — Zechariah 4:6

In this message, Pastor Jason Mayfield shares a personal story of growing up in a broken home where Christmas brought temporary peace, but no lasting change. From there, he points to what Scripture calls a better tree—the tree Jesus bore our sins on—revealing how Christ doesn’t just improve a life, He completely changes its direction.

This message explains why every person needs a Savior, how real peace is found through Jesus, and what it means to build a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled church for all people.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Most people never move beyond sensing God, but Scripture teaches there are deeper levels of hearing Him. In this message, Pastor Jason Mayfield breaks down the fourth and highest level—direct communication from the Lord—and shows how to discern God's voice with maturity and confidence.

Through Elijah’s encounter in 1 Kings 19, you’ll learn how to recognize God’s whisper in the middle of noise, evaluate whether a thought comes from God or yourself, build healthy boundaries around “God told me,” and understand how long-term Bible engagement trains you to recognize the Holy Spirit’s dialect. A clear, practical teaching for anyone who wants a deeper, more accurate relationship with God’s voice.</itunes:summary>

In this message, we look at how God moves through formation, consecration, and visitation to prepare His people for a great outpouring. Using Joel 2 and Acts 2, we explore what happens when the Holy Spirit begins to move in power—salvations multiply, hearts are transformed, and the presence of God fills His house again. This is a call for pastors to return to the altar, for believers to return to consecration, and for the Church to expect revival now.

<itunes:subtitle>The Fall, the Law, and the Cross</itunes:subtitle>
                <itunes:summary>Why does Jesus matter?

The Gospels tell us what Jesus did. The rest of the New Testament tells us why it matters. Jesus didn’t just die on the cross—He died for you. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, went to the cross, and rose again so that His finished work could transform your life.

This message walks through three key moments in Scripture that explain why Jesus matters:

The Fall — the problem that became everyone’s problem (Genesis 2–3, Romans 5).

The Law — the opportunity that became the revelation (Exodus 20, Joshua 24, Galatians 3).

The Cross — the sufficient solution (Colossians 2, Romans 8, Hebrews 7, Ephesians 2).

At the cross, Jesus satisfied the demands of the Law and dealt with the effects of sin once and for all. Salvation is by grace through faith—not by our own works—so that no one may boast. Faith is the key: when we believe, we receive.

This is why Jesus matters.</itunes:summary>
